I got it in November. So about 7 months. The oxidation is kinda uneven...
Thanks for that, just curious how quickly a coil can go belly up. Debating picking up a backup.

Thank you for posting this, I had been waiting for this sale. I was thinking about buying another one recently and remembered I got my last one in a 4th of July sale and decided to wait again.Auber has a nice 4th of July sale going on...from now until July 8th get $10.00 of a RDK-300A (now $89.00) and $6.00 off a RDI-200 (now $59.00).
I own a RDK-300 which I purchased when my HexNail went in for repair almost a year ago. The RDK-300 has been rock solid! I now use my HexNail/Dnail Sic Halo for concentrates and the RDK-300 with the NewVape Showerhead for flowers (yeah I know, a VRod would allow me eliminate one of these controllers!).
However, I do not think anyone can own too many backups! I am so impressed with the RDK-300, I ordered another during the sale. In terms of efficiency, cost and customer service you would be hard pressed to beat Auber's products!
(Be forewarned, the shipping seems just a tad high to me, but also worth it in my opinion.)

The site says they are both 2nd generation, whatever that means! The cables out the front on the cheaper 200 suits my situation better, I just did not want to get it to save a few bucks if it is not going to last or not perform as well as the 300.'newer' model
I need to get a PID controller for my new Dnail coil and sic Halo setup (my DHGate Menovo PID fuse popped as soon as I hit the heat up button so I hope I did not damage my Dnail flat coil), the RDK200 is $59 and the RDK300 is $119, is the 300 worth nearly twice the price of the 200?
Thanks for the replies, looks like a RDK-200 will be ordered soon.
That is good to hear as I have one on order, the listing says the controller is 110/f220v (auto switching) but you need the specific voltage coil for 110 or 220v, weird shit that elektrickery.Definitely superior to a the Chinese controllers I've used in terms of build quality.
Sounds like a fault. Have you contacted their tech support? So I had my first ever issue with the auber today. When I press the power button to turn it off, nothing happens. I unplug it and it turns off, olug it back in and from off the button will turn it on, but it will not turn off. Anyone have any ideas?

So I wrote twice from 2 different email addresses and received no response. Time to take my buisiness elsewhere. Good luck everyone.
Yes.
Would it make sense to allow more stops? Like so there could be a Special Boost Mode and a Special Temp Step Mode that allows people to temp step? That way it could be used with the flower pot. That feature might be useful for dabs too...
Like 5 temps. With the flowerpot... Low temp hits... Taps auber... Goes to the next temp. Hits.... Taps auber..... Last tap raises the temp to kick the bowl, and one more tap moves it back to standby temp. Idk... Tbh I don't really temp step with the FP so idk if it's worth it.
Either way the boost sounds like it would be awesome for dabs!
