Dam I live in the UK so ordering these off Amazon.com costs me and extra £20 for international shipping and I can't find any on the .co.uk site. Any UK users know of any good UK websites to buy things like this?
So i received my replacement stealth ascent last night. The unit looks much better, mainly the oled screen. My original looked as if there was boogers under the screen.
So i threw it on the charger and proceeded to do a few high temp burn offs. There was no visible off gassing but there was a new vape smell emitting from the entire vape.
Next i loaded .25 of well cured grade A nug and tamped it down with an oil jar. Set it to 395 and took a long slow steady draw. Holy shit! This thing was putting off massive clouds. Comparable to my lotus wich performs like a desktop. I was extremely happy and impressed. I love how cool the vapor gets before reaching my lungs.
Will report back when more time is spent with it.

@mmenzie
I never found the rising puck to be an issue. I feel you on the need for a small load. Have you tried any cotton/hemp yet? Or maybe using the oil can as a spacer?
havent tried cotton yet cause i was not sure if it had to be a certain kind?? does it have to be organic that costs more??
the oil can as a spacer seems like a great idea, but wouldn't the lack of holes in the can stop airflow and there fore not allow vapor up through the straw??
according to vitolo, any cotton with the tree/cotton symbol will do. That's what I was using before switching to hemp fiber.

I found these on Uk eBay.
My Ascent is in transit. Bye bye smoking, assuming I get a well QC'd unit.
Should note that I have had the puck raise from the bowl a few times but once you learn how to use it you will have nothing but success with it you just have to draw really slow and lite almost to the point where it doesn't feel like your hitting itReceived mine yesterday so far battery came with half a charge so far no off gassing no horrible smell didn't even have to do an initial burn off just packed right when I got it and has worked great since and I have had plenty of success with barlely packing anything in there and getting huge clouds and I'm not using anytype of spacer or weight
I did test with mine with and without the puck. If its loose, you're ref gonna get it in your mouth. I jammed my puck down pretty hard and it let me draw as fast as I wanted without getting anything in my mouth. I did however fill the bowl full before I made the puck, so I'm betting it was just pressed down harder.Should note that I have had the puck raise from the bowl a few times but once you learn how to use it you will have nothing but success with it you just have to draw really slow and lite almost to the point where it doesn't feel like your hitting it
OF...are you having to fish through your abv to retrieve the glass flower screens?
so because of "rising puck" issue
am a light user so from what i am reading when my glass flowers arrive i may be able to go back to my normal .2 per bowl use again.

Doesn't mean your unit won't function as it should with off-gassing. I personally would never vape from any unit that off-gasses, but that doesn't mean someone else won't be happy just ignoring it.This thing is making me feel schizophrenic. It is still out gassing. First gassing then getting better then gassing again.. I'm at my wits end with this unit. Emailed Aaron for another replacement or refund. Am willing to try one more replacement as all others seem to have units functioning as they should.
What I used to do was put a thin layer of cotton on top of the load and it would keep the glass stems crystal clean.
