@ the moment my solo remains in a camera case just like the one STU has posted just different brand!
So, my Solo will be here tomorrow Any tips on getting the best production out of it without reading 722 pages of this thread I already know to draw slowly

Thanks OF , now when you say pack moderately - less than a pax pack?
Yeah! I really love my Ed's wood stems too! Got 2 now, and gonna go for a third (the Shorty, custom, with mods). I know Ed's busy, so he can have as much time as he needs. Believe me, it'll be worth the wait! They look sensational (incredible wood selection), draw cool and easier than OEM, don't break, hold in snug, and make the whole assembly pocket friendly!I just want to say I got my wood stem from Ed's TNT. Amazing. I used it al level 3- got lots of great tasting clouds! Very satisfied granny here.
I would say that Ed's stems pull about the same as the Turbo's, only look a hell of a lot sweeter, don't jiggle, and don't break!I might have to grab a few of the wooden stems are they a lot smoother than the turbo ones ?

In addition to all the above excellent tips, I would also recommend sticking a screen to the bottom of the heating chamber. It will keep the stem from touching the bottom of the SS heater thus giving you much better airflow and will also minimize herb pieces touching the SS hot surface, being scorched and ruining the taste. There is a slight drop in the temps achived but the Solo is too hot anyways. At least for herbs...Thanks Seren and OF, all good things to know . I'll report back tomorrow night
nope you got it right since the solo has its auto shut off all you'd have to do is turn it on and enjoyThat is fucking ingenious! Unless I'm misunderstanding, the vape wouldn't even have to be out of the backpack?
well you guys all know about the camel backs right the water pouch in the backpack im making an adaptor so your solo can stay in your back pack and still enjoy the vapor with the inconspicuous blue tube most people know and won't question

not going to lie it was a bit of a highdea
Let me suggest taking it a step further? Since the gadget is in the backpack, why not put a pair of check valves there as well (low pressure 'demand' valves like the exhaust valve in a SCUBA rig?). That way you can draw vapor from the Solo one way, hold the hit a few seconds then blow it back down the tube through the other valve and into the activated carbon vapor/smell trap?

I could name quite a few, but why swell their heads! There are some brilliant people here.
