JoeFinny broke his stem putting in a screen slightly too big and forcing. I still get small scooby snacks with my screen that is too small. I guess I just need goldylocks to come cut me a screen that is just right.
Sinclue said:Mine came with sounds disabled and I can't turn them on...don't want to, but odd that no matter what I try they are off. Also, "return to previous temp setting" doesn't work no matter what amount of time I hold the button. As they don't affect the basic function I'm not bothered...certainly not enough to send it back!
Would also be interested in extra diffuser stems, but haven't seen them anywhere. Or the 9v transformer to allow it to be used without the battery. Anybody know if, when, and where they might be available?
Thanks guys I'm now running silent. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong but this works.JoeFinny said:To disable sound just turn on the device normally, when the blue LED is solid hold down the ^ button, i dont remember if it beeps or blinks to show you its disabled but that is how you disable all sound.
$220.99 delivered. Can't beat the price (not yet anyway). Don't know anything about the seller. They sell everything from top rated models to cheap clones. The 15% off (over $50) applies to even MF and the Volcano models, and I don't think this is OK with MF or S&B, but as long as they deliver....Empherio said:I just bought the Solo from vaporizerforweed.net for $220 (259 with 15% off), free shipping. That is mad cheap for this thing, right? I've not seen it for less than 259 anywhere, so I hope I haven't been burned. A search for bad reviews of the site didn't turn up anything. All their other vapes seemed priced in line with the market. Does anyone know of this site? I hope for the best and can't wait to try this little bugger.
Again, it could depend on which two people you're talking about. I'd say that this is not good criteria for choosing a vape anyway. I haven't used this model, so I can't say from experience how long it takes to reload, but I wouldn't think it would be too long. Judging by someone I know and trust, this is the most satisfying portable you can find, hit wise. As long as you don't need stealth, it's a great portable. If you don't need portability, there are other excellent choices to explore.it has to be able to get a couple people vaped without refilling the bowl.
Let me just say this vape surpasses the iolite in every way possible. I just sold my iolite immediately after purchasing the solo, and Ive been using the iolite roughly 2.5 years. If your on the fence about this BUY IT you will not be disappointed. Also can i ask how you lost your heat pin on the iolite? I used that for almost the same amount of time as you but never saw physical damagesmokum said:I'd be interested in your opinion King Lou, as I'm on my 3rd yr with mine (pin-less & ground down chamber as she is), and have been relatively satisfied with the way my Iolite has worked for me.
I'm about to order the Solo myself, with hopes of having a positive & realistic experience, so I'd like to hear your view seeing your on the same plane.

This unit does continue to impress me as it seems to impress most every other person who has ever tried it based on what they are posting. It really is a welcome addition to the world of portable vapes and vapes in general. Tasty clouds keep a coming.
