Very nice of you Stu, I appreciate that! Already have the PV Turbo GonG 18mm male and I've been bonging with it. True, the Solo's battery gets gassed, but what the hell, I've always hard on my vapes and easy on my women!Pappy, you should get the PVHES GonG stem if you get a chance. It makes Solo vaporbonging much easier IME.
I dropped your screens in the mail, so you should have 'em by tomorrow.
I just got my Solo today from the Massdrop and its M1B11, anyone else have a unit from this batch?
Have never seen two models of the same vape perform identically so I wouldn't take any of these numbers as gospel. The Solo is very efficient and you'll get blasted by applying the proper techniques.Hey guys, just a quick question regarding the max temp on the Solo. I'm still waiting on mine from Massdrop and it just occurred to me that the max temperature setting on the Solo is 210'C/410'F and I'm not sure that would suit my needs. I'm a guy who vapes predominantly for a "body high", thus I'm trying to get those high-temp sedative and analgesic effects. As I understand it there are host of chemicals released at 220'C/428'F. Will I be able to get those with a Solo (maybe by drawing slower or using drier material)?
M1A's and M1B's are the newest models .
But don't worry so much about the serial #'s .

In addition to what Pappy posted, the 'temp' readings on vapes read the temp of wherever the indicator is located. Since that indicator is never inside the packed bowl, you never really get a 'true' reading of the material being vaped.
Hi air_zonk, welcome to the fun.Hey guys.....
I read a whole lot of this thread (over 100 pages!!) before posting but i didnt see anything about my problem so hope it hasnt been asked already.
I got one of those mean well power adapters that gets recommended in here from Mouser and a adapterfrom EBAY. Well they both work great except for a few thing
1) I notice my Solo doesn't hold as much of a charge as before I started using the PA, like I will only get 2 or 3 sessions from a full charge before the batterys wiped out
2) If I use the Power Adapter plugged into the wall every couple sessions I will notice the battery level goes down..... is it normal for the battery to get used while its on the PA? Obviously its not using battery charge because I can do 8 or 9 sessions and only have it dip down a couple notches whereas it would be impossible to get 8 or 9 sessions in on the battery.
Hope my solo isnt messed up.... I have owned it for about 4 months now and use it every day. Thanks guys and peace
Say I have the temp set to 4, I decide to bump it up to 5 but the temp then drops back down to 2 and then heats back up as normal. I'd expect the possibility of the temp dropping a level as it does in normal use but it never drops more than one in a session as opposed to 2 levels when selecting temp. Does the heater disengage when you select a temp? Or maybe my battery is starting to struggle to keep up?
Yes, it does 'disengage' heating for several seconds, which might account for the drop you report. I've never seen it, but our techniques could be different enough to explain that?

^^^ This Unless it's the M105 lol Some may not agree with me though =PI repeat ;
Don't worry so much about the serial # 's .
I bought mine from Randy at Puffitup also , and he has the latest models .
So does Planetvape.ca .

Just charge it up , do the few burn offs ...if needed .
And ENJOY !
I want to hear you report back .
Just curious as to what was specific about my model but I couldnt find anything really.
Oh, yeah, some top covers are thicker than others with no apparent rime or reason.
Very interesting. I noticed there was a difference a while back while messing with rings, I posted this photo of the two I was working with at the time:Make a long story short supposedly some people have plastic tops while some have metal tops.
There seems to be difference in units but nothing worth marketing as a change or significant enough for us forum users to really need differentiation.
I've noticed an issue with my solo albeit not a major one. Am I alone or has anyone else noticed this?
