I wouldn't risk it, get an ubie, they are $15 US so you can pack it clean then throw it away so you aren't traveling back with it.

I hate it also. I wouldn't mind but the damn thing cools down so quickly. By the time I realise its dropped from 6 to 1. Yes, it beeps when it cuts out but that annoyed me as well so I had to turn it off.
So yeah, work around?

EK how bout a ecig with tincture or an oil pen...you can legally travel with that. In reality you can legally travel with a solo as well but I am not sure I would chance it international either but you never know hehe.
Blue the other day I was to lazy to load my stem and besides my screen was dirty yet again and I didn't feel like cleaning it so I put the solo on three and had a full session with clouds. New solo slogan...get medicated no herb needed

That would kinda be defeating the purpose. When it's on the PA there's technically NO off.

There are other reasons to time out, consider the HA is mains powered and times out...... Likewise the PA on MFLB needs to be held on, like on T1 with it's PA. Even for true convection vapes (like those), unlike Solo, where cooking your goods away if you pass out or get distracted isn't an important issue.

Charge it fully then do a couple of 12 minute burnoffs on 7 before you use it

Hey everyone just got my solo in the mail today! I'm currently doing my 5th burn off cycle at temp 7 and there's still a lot of chemical smell and taste. I also cleaned it with a q tip and alcohol. Anyone else have to do a ton of burn off sessions orginally? Thanks!

As you wish. You'll probably get more sessions total out of the battery if you don't completely discharge it nor fully charge it again. I try to catch mine before it shuts itself off (when the last light lights say) and recharge after (at most) one more session after it 'drops past empty' even if it's still producing vapor normally.
Such treatment might double the number of sessions? A lot of trouble for sure, but then so is replacing the battery eventually (or just buying a new Solo)?
So, when faced with your situation, I charged up before playing with it and recommend that.

I believe I told him what you said OF although when you write it sometimes I still see colors . I think they need a smiley icon for me with just seeing colors or blah blah blah.
Cashew I did a ton of burns but just use it and don't worry. The smell/taste will go away.

It is doing the 3 light dance and resetting it like I have been doing for the past few days is not working. Can someone assist with where to go from here?

Yes I just got mine a little over a week ago and it took about 3-5 days before I couldn't smell or taste the "new" smell anymore. And I did about 5 burn off cycles before I loaded the first wand.
Edit: I also sat my solo on top of a small fan in between uses to try to help get rid of the smell, not sure if it worked but the smell is gone now.

Whether I'm using the PA or not ,
I always try to turn on my Solo according to the 12 minute clock intervals .
ie ; turn it on at 12:00 , it will beep on 12:12 ; 12:24 ; 12:36 . especially with the PA .
The PA timer is more accurate than the battery .

Hey guys, just got my solo today and I have some questions. And I like it buy there's some issues.
First I think my battery level indicator shut off somehow. When ever I turn it on the solo it just blinks only at level 7 instead of showing 7/7 or 4/7 lights like normal for a full/half full battery. Do I have this wrong and can it be fixed? At first I thought it was showing me a full bar of lights for a full battery and now it won't show that and it blinks at 7 when I start it up and it's not even half way charged.
Also I might be packing too tight or something but the abv is always half brown close to the heater and the stuff in the front of the stem is green. I'm starting at 5 and going to 7 for the full cycle. Can anyone share some insight?

I'm not sure about the lights but try putting a domed screen in the stem, after that you should be able to pack it fairly tight and have it come out pretty evenly browned

Should the screen be put in before or after the bud? Like should it be put in after closer to the heater?

but some do the 2 screen ' sandwich ' method , to keep the herb from falling in the heater .
Is ur Solo heating up ? working ?

Yeah it's working fine. It's just the battery indicator that isn't. Maybe it's because I didn't fully charge my unit when I first got it?

I dome it the other way .
But your way will conserve herb better .
My way seems to give bigger hits , I know I'm using more .
Or maybe it's just psychological , but I still do it .
