if you are reclaiming wand hash (the golden gooey stuff inside glass wands like the solo stems and ssv/dbv wands) you do NOT need to filter. all the chunky stuff is condensed vapor as Vitolo explained it to me. it is ALL good to vape up.
i only use a filter when i am making a batch of QWISO oil from fresh trim or ABV. then i agree... filters and i mean plural with filters are needed.
So if I just change the cable from the PA to the plug it will work in Europe? Nice to know that, I was hesitant to order from PV and was waiting for his answer.
Love it. We have the same strategy!as i said earlier, I don't find the stems take a away from the taste.
a band new bowl of fresh herbs still tastes amazing in there! (I honestly am amazed at how good this vape tastes.) with that dirty stem, if anything I do need to replace the metal screen in the end because I can feel the restriction these days, but other than that I am not even worried about the level of goo lining those walls of my stem. once washed off in iso. my stem will be good as new, and I have a great deposit to go towards my next iso evap next September... Usually, I do it right before harvest when everyone is dry and out... so the oil is a welcome sight!
That q stuff I am to scared to make so that won't happen.
Looks like a nice setup, although you should consider a GonG stem as a nice upgrade. Which HT is that and how tall is it?lol wow, speaking of dirty stems i just scraped mine and took a quick vid
Me too, though the flavour is still pretty good even when dirty.i notice a 'cleaner' taste after i clean the stem, like the strain has more individual personality without the added flavors of strains past.
I don't filter my reclaims, because any particulate matter that does appear was at one time meds intended to vape... so for me, vaping it again, even as an ABV "base" for oil is still medicating me.
This combined with the fact that ALL vape residue, and ABV get stored for consumption... It is winding up back in the ABV bile where I want it, rather than on a filter.
But I would love to dunk that stem in hot black coffee and have one " Kick-ass " expresso .
Do you think the dipping in milk trick would work with soy milk?
It's only 6%. Yikes, I think I'm out of luck. Looks like ill be picking up some full fat chocolate milk at the store tomorrow!
