OMG as they say these day's!In August of 1975 just short of my 21st birthday I was in Oaxaca, Oaxaca and was introduced to sensilmilla. The sky literally fell in. :-)
@OF I have a new spare SOLO battery pack, should i use this in rotation or just leave it as it came partly charged.
I don't see the one that came in the Solo going anywhere soon.
I should do the same, my brother's old school. Smoking joints just seems archaic to me now after vaping haha.My brother had extensive back surgery last summer.
There were discs removed and hardware implanted in his neck.
It was a difficult surgery and he's still recovering and has a lot of pain and stiffness still.
He finds that cannabis helps to relax his tight muscles.
He's an old time joint user from way back.
I gifted one of my Solos to him.
I hope I can get him off of combustion.
THX I do love a backup plan, that goes for anything i would miss after a few hours.
Seems right, if the battery is covered for a year and the year's up there's nothing to lose. The batteries are not drop in parts like with the air, you void your warranty by installing them but generally it seems folks are well past warranty by the time a swap is necessary.

I was watching review's today looking to buy another portable.
How disappointing!
Some reviews were truthful.
However most were lame.
I got 10 hits of flavor my last SOLO session.
Most portables after the 2nd rip the flavor is like burnt popcorn?
$120 for a SOLO
$269 for a 2 hit wonder?
What a joke!
@Hashtag46&2 where have you been?
I suffer as well!G'day Solo Crew!!
My dear friend @ataxian ....
I'm going through a bit of a rough patch with my disease and its ongoing treatment.
My Doctor of nearly 10 years of pain management announced his retirement last October, and was assured that I would he would be transferring me to another Doctor to continue my management.
(I'm on a crazy dose, have never missed a dose for the entire time )
Well ... I am about 21 days away from when my next appointment should be and I am still waiting for a phone call to be scheduled
There are many intricacies involved in this type of treatment.
I'm essentially scared to death right now, and waiting patiently for the phone to ring. - no I'm not patient actually..I'm anxious as a whore in Church..
I suffer severe pain... Like everywhere pain, the entire spine is fused and looks like an old stick of bamboo (Hence the old name of my disease "Bamboo Spine ")
AKA Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Neck does not move in a tilt, can barely look left and right, very limited range of motion.
Ribs/chest
Hands
Both flanks
Prosthetic hips both sides
Knees
Heels
Of course I'm not stupid, and have established an emergency backup plan, but that plan will last 2 months tops.
Hopefully I'm just worried for nothing, but the stakes are very high and the outcome could have serious consequences.
My retired Doctor actually just emailed me yesterday, saying I should be getting that call any day now, which calmed me down a bit... But I'm still not going to be completely comfortable until I have a damn appointment.
Thanks for asking about me Brotha, it is very appreciated, also gives me a chance to get this off my chest... Been bottling this up to everyone except my Wife, as it's a very personal issue, and I don't tell anyone I'm even on this medication...
WAYYY too much negativity attached.
I've missed chatting with all of you, hope I got caught up with the likes.
Not sure about Arizer, Randy never had a problem with covering the warranty if the battery was changed. My battery is nearly 2 years now and still feels like new, Thanks to @OF and his advise. The batteries are not drop in parts like with the air, you void your warranty by installing them but generally it seems folks are well past warranty by the time a swap is necessary.
Not sure about Arizer
Hi all,
I think I found something all of you would rejoice in and perhaps something many of you might already know.
I found an article testing the medical applications and THC/CBD efficiency rate (conversion to Vapor) of several vaporisers.
http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0147286
Yes, thank you, it's been brought up here before a couple of times. In fact there's a thread specifically on the topic:

Nice to get some recognition alright.

Thank You ataxian, you're certainly inspirational, no doubt about that.I suffer as well!
Joking is my therapy!
I too have dropped 30% of my meds, and after that , after acquiring the Solo, another 20%.. So, even with dropping 50% ... (After recovering from the surgery)I quit some of my medication's and reduced some.
CANNABIS is safer than soda?
I was wondering what happened to you?
Sad to here you are in a difficult place.
I'm tripping out to hear these people who have this collection disease?
I had the same disease!
However I woke up today thinking to change my way of thinking?
Let me take a SOLO session to explain.
My Political, Religious, Moral, Scientific, view's' have changed.
The importance of life has new meaning!
I read and study many subjects I should of done before.
Having fun globe trotting was such a distraction.
With my cerebellum shrinking at least I have my thoughts intact.
My coordination is off?
CANNABIS I medicate with.
The SOLO is basic however medically works well!
I hope you get sorted soon.
Hey man, thank you so much for the kind words my friend.@Hashtag46&2 Hope all goes well and you get your appt soon!
Your a nice person!Thank You ataxian, you're certainly inspirational, no doubt about that.

The sheer amount on paper is a jaw dropper, that is until the Doc looks at my history / records.
Again, thank you so much for the words of wisdom and encouragement.
The fact that the Solo has successfully cut 20% of my daytime medicine, kinda validates the recent study that was recently conducted, anecdotal of course.
It more so validates the video that you posted a while back.
Hey man, thank you so much for the kind words my friend.
Been digging a lot of your posts .
Happy Friday Solo Friends!
I bought so many portables however it wasn't for social reasons.Hi all,

They included the solo, volcano, plenty, davinci and the gas powered "Vape-or-Smoke".
I was shocked to see the results:
1) Arizer Solo® - THC 82.7%, CBD 70.0%
2) Plenty Vaporizer® - THC 66.8%, CBD 56.1%
3) Volcano Medic® - THC 58.4%, CBD 51.4%
4) DaVinci Vaporizer® - THC 54.6%, CBD 56.7%
5) Vape-or-Smoke - THC 55.9%, CBD 45.9% (but showed signs of combustion)
NOTE: The above were the only vapes tested in this study.
To be honest I was expecting volcano, plenty, solo then davinci.
Goes to show what I know....
Well it goes to show why I kept my solo. It was my first vape and, evidently, probably my most efficient.

Impressive. I wonder how the Arizer Air performed. It'd probably be relatively close to the solo +/-5%
I wonder how they perform through a water tool. And also how the volcano would perform directly ( without the bag)
Well, that would be irrelevant since you can't use the Volcano without a bag. What's the point in gathering that data if it has no practical use?
