That half solo half NO2?ok so i've been racking my brain all day.... does anyone know what vaporizer kind of "ripped off" the Solo? There was a new release many months back...it was grey/black and had 5 preset temps instead of the 7 but looked like they ripped off 1/2 of the design.... it's in FC somewhere.....anyone?
oh ya, I think maybe it was made in europe?
I find that my Eds' Blackwood stem is perfect for use around my seven acre spread. You can just throw the whole rig in your pocket intact, ready for use with no risk of breakage! Looks cool too...like a futuristic wood pipe.Care to elaborate on why they are essential? Always looking for an excuse to spend more money on my Solo!
It does....careful, the top 1/4" or so of the metal is exposed; so yes, I have burned myself several times. It also acts as a heat sink, so I always use it on level 7 with Eds' while I use the stock glass at level 4.I have also heard that the steel bowl gets super hot
Every Soloist should have a least one @Ed's TnT stem, make it a 3 inch WonG and you can use it as a mouthpiece as well as a water tool adapter. Wood doesn't break. You don't want to be left in a lurch.
Yeah but wood+ISO don't mesh well? Apparently temp needs to be bumped by one or 2 with these? If that's the case, it's just another deal breaker since I use glass gong mainly on 7 and wish I had just a touch more heat. Not sure I like the sound of "nutty taste" either....I like glass neutrality in flavour...should only come from the plant IMO but everyone has their own preferences.
As far as I can tell, by any logic the Solo should operate using conduction, not convection. But there is evidence that there may be some convection aspects to it after all.Convection mode?
What is this. Im about to buy my first solo on black Friday. There seems to be some confusion as to whether the solo is conduction or convection. So can someone answer this question for me.
In the solo, does the herb touch a heat source or not.?
I THINK it's due to the conductive aspect, but it can't be that because I use it in convection mode much of the time and it's just as smooth.
