I bought my solo over a year ago and love it. But I am now looking at getting a solo for my friend and on one of the websites it said the new solo can be used while plugged in. I know the air can but I haven't heard of this feature being implemented on the solo, can anyone confirm or deny this?
Though money is tight, with a family and all. So wondering if it is possible to hook-up a Solo to a bubbler w/o investing in a GonG adapter?
Or are there any cheap alternatives? Give thanks in advance.

Thanks, I apologize for bringing it up again I just didn't want to look through all those pages of material.solodolo420...This topic has come up a few times ..... Start at page 1263 about half way down in this thread and work your way forward.
In the meantime....I purchased the new Solo about 3 months ago and have used it twice while on the charger. I am trying not to use it on the charger as a norm because I have seen posts that imply it may intermittently stop charging the battery when used on the charger which can shorten the battery life.

Longtime lurker, first post. Been saying fuckcombustion for about a year now. Keeping it underground in prohibitionist Sweden. Anyway, currently own a MFLB and FM. Looking to upgrade and invest in a Solo. Though money is tight, with a family and all. So wondering if it is possible to hook-up a Solo to a bubbler w/o investing in a GonG adapter? I see vapefiend in the UK has the MFLB water whip listed as a Solo accessory. Does that work? Or are there any cheap alternatives? Give thanks in advance.

Been there with the build, I was able to steal a handful of Legos from my little brother's room and made a small tower that held my stems pointed up. It was heavy/wide enough at the base to hold both the straight stem and the bent stem without tipping over. It only went halfway up the stems so no heat issues. You could also drill some holes into a small block of wood. Not sure what size you'd need though, sorry. Can't find a ruler around here... there's one but it's kind of far outside haha.I mentioned in another thread I was going to create a Solo Glass Draw holder so I could set them down, when they're hot, with the bowl pointing skyward. Then I asked myself...self I asked...'why not ask the good people at FC if they have already developed something for this need'.
Every time I go Solo I use the hamster method so the honey oil from vapor condensation flows away from the bowl and toward the mouthpiece. I want to accumulate as much reclaim oil as I can and figure this is the best way to coat the tube heavily. I also make sure to turn off the Solo and remove the glass draw tube about 3/4 of the way through my last inhale so that any herb that may have escaped the glass bowl is sucked back into the bowl. This keeps the burner clean and also stops the honey oil from clogging or backing up into the bowl. I then stand there for a few seconds waiting for the bowl to cool off so I can put the draw tube down in the original styrofoam Solo box with the bowl pointing up. One of the reasons I want to set the tube down hot with the bowl pointing up is I want the reclaim to flow toward the mouthpiece. Once the reclaim is plentiful enough to get a heavy coat and is encroaching on the mouthpiece it'll be time to make some reclaim edibles.
I'm new to the Arizer scene and have a guy selling me an Arizer with the model number M115C501908. I was wondering if this was a 2014 model? Any resplies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Happy New Year FC.Well nearly

does it heat while charging? If yes, it's 2014 or newer (probably not newer than 2014, right?)I'm new to the Arizer scene and have a guy selling me an Arizer with the model number M115C501908. I was wondering if this was a 2014 model? Any resplies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Doubt it he's had it for a few weeks but than again I ask because there's little to no info online. And not sure if he bought it from a retail store or not. But yes it heats while charging.does it heat while charging? If yes, it's 2014 or newer (probably not newer than 2014, right?)
