Would someone be able to pm me the address for Arizer Tech. I believe they are in hamilton and i visit hamilton a lot It is a legal product not sure why i cant find their address hopefully i didntjump anyones conversation thanks

Arizer is in Kitchener and they are notoriously secretive. They do not have a storefront and I would be astounded if they agreed to a visit, but you never know. Good luck!

Took my Solo to the lake with me! Also ordered some customs stems from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd inspired by the chillum tip.

Today I had Blue Dream.
When I go out later i'll have Sour Kush grown in house.

PS my bent stem has been lost so long I forget what it was like.
Did the bent stem provide different airflow than the straight or is my memory playing tricks on me?

To me bent stem seems to provides bit more cooler vapor.

Just received my solo yesterday thanks to @PlanetVape , everything arrived and then I charged my solo up, ran a few full cycles on 7 heat to help rid of smell/clean it. Wiped it with a qtip with iso. Then ran it again on 7 for a full cycle to get rid of anything left.

Once I got home the fun began, I cut a screen I had to fit into the stems and started up the solo on to 4, lightly packed a bowl while waiting for it to get up to temp. Once it got up to temp I put the stem in and waited another 20-30 seconds to get it started....then I entered the world of vaping. The first few pulls were flavourful (something I've never experienced coming from blazing joints and bongs all the time) and weren't harsh at all, then I told myself time to ramp it up. Went straight to 7 let it heat up and then magic began. (Now I haven't consumed Mary Jane in a while I used to be a 3 joints kinda guy a day for a long time up until 3-4 years ago where my usage really slowed down to maybe once a month or every few months ...and yesterday was the first time in a few months.)

Anyways I feel like I'm rambling on but on level 7, finishing off the lightly packed stem I was on a whole new level of high I didn't see coming. My lungs didn't hurt, my throat didn't burn, my mouth didn't feel dry and pasty!! I coughed though but I never felt so clean and 'healthy' inhaling anything. In the end I don't know if I was still high about 4-5 hours later but I felt very relaxed, energetic and pretty much enjoying every moment and finding laughs around every corner without feeling groggy, tired and lazy.

I will be bringing my solo with me to my buddies house tomorrow to show a few of them the world of vaping and will be recommending the solo to them as well as purchasing from @PlanetVape

Thanks for reading my long short story on my first experience with vaping

It's like Christmas around here everybody getting their new Solos. Have a great experience. The Solo has a lot to offer and keeps on giving. With the new improved airflow and the longer battery life who wouldnt fall in love with this unit.

Later on, check in and let us know how your session was.
Peace and good times.

Every vaporist needs a back up vape, it's better to be prepared. Stuff happens, sorry for your troubles.

Arizer happens to make some excellent products. Email where you bought your unit from so you can send it back and get a replacement.
Good luck with that.:)

Really? Based on a fluke...? This thread is 1100+ pages long, and this certainly isn't even close to being the norm. The Solo is actually an extremely depending vaporizer, and i've owned many and never had to RMA any of them. What happened? Can you tell us more? How did it actually "die"?

hi biohacker,

midway through a 12 min session it began to drop heat, the lights fell back to zero. stopping and restarting the session to try and bring it back, it never gained heat, and so i figured the battery had run out. i placed it on charge and the light flashes green and red, and no charge will take.

i always seem to get the lemons when it concerns tech, i understand that every product has a % of failure, but if you check my thread about which vape to buy, i really did say something to the effect that 'if there are known but rare defects, chances are i will get them!' and sure enough...

i am having a tough time without my medication due especially to other domestic problems, sorry if i appear moody! and i probably am being melodramatic swearing off their products ;)

You can't get a warranty replacement?
Solos can break like any other vape but the majority of the time it's the battery going bad.

Some of us are just predisposed to always getting the lemons of the batches no matter what because the universe wants it to be that way.

If it died that quick it was bad batteries so honestly the blame should be on the battery manafacturer.

i've had it about 2.5 weeks, although only used it for 1 as i took about 1.5 weeks tolerance break

i was starting to really enjoy it. i will contact vapefiend who i purchased it from, i guess

Vapefiend has a very good reputation with our European vaporists .
Depending where you live , you may have a short turn around .
Also see about getting a PA with your RMA . They can come in handy
at times .

i might just get a new vape to be up and running quicker...? sorry for grumbling, will step out now

Bummer indeed. Very rare, IMO, but if you're the guy every Solo that matters is broken. I'm with the 'get it replaced and try again' folks but get that can be a long and frustrating process.

So I agree with you, the call is to get a new vape to tide you over, and serve as a backup when this one's right again. I'd suggest a MFLB or maybe a nice VG since they're not only lower cost but excellent vapes in their own right, one you might want to have and use anyway? My personal fave in that class is probably the Vapman, you might consider that?

Best wishes, keep at it, don't backslide to blazing!

I like your backup vape suggestions. Those 3 are practically bullet proof

no need to apologize - its just that i hate to see you give up on it so quickly even though it gave up on you.

the other devices suggested are good, im not a fan of the mflb myself it being very low powered/weak hitting, but definitely consider a lotus!

but i think you should get your solo replaced anyway even if you get something else in the meantime. theres nothing wrong with having several.

That really sucks man. It's kind of weird because they're recommended in part because of how durable/dependable they are. Someone ran it over with their car, twice, and it still heated up and vaped fine despite being cosmetically trainwrecked. Good call on getting in touch with vapefiend, I'm sure you'll get sorted out and have a new one in hand soon enough. Glad you're giving it a second chance and reconsidering your "never with Arizer again" position. I fell in love with my Solo on the first day I got her and can't see myself without one in the lineup now.

Hey man, uh, yeah, Arezer sucks, Solo sucks to!! IF your not using it anymore send it to me so I can destroy it four u :)

I'm just kidding. Really though hope to see you posting happier things in a week or two!. I'm really stoned. GDP flower, "whole nug" and then broken down, and then I added some Afgoo bubble hash! I still have two more strains to test out too!! :science:

@Spaceboy open a ticket on vapefiend a website. He'll deal with any warranty probs and you'll have a new unit within a couple of days (assuming they're in stock).

Top notch service and (more importantly) after sales support from Vapefiend if you're in the UK.

I had a MFLB and 12 batteries.
Gave it away.
To destroy the flavor of CANNABIS is wrong!
I hated the LOTUS at first until I got a better torch lighter.
It works good now however the SOLO is hands down the easiest for me to use.

We're all different and some like the MFLB.
I did not care for the burnt popcorn taste or the pocket of OF batteries!

Priorities?

I've had my solo for 2 weeks now, and I'm very impressed with this device. I'm vaping a lot more but conserving bud compared to smoking.
It used to make me cough a lot initially, I started at 5 then move to 6 and 7 no specific time for a certain temp I just go with how the vapor feels. I've found that if I start low at 3 or 4 and gradually move up it doesn't make me cough I'm sure people already figured that out but I didn't know that it would make that much of a difference I cough my lungs out if I start on 5 but on 3 or 4 it's a breeze. Now saving up to purchase a water tool, I'll probably go for a cheap f bomb knock off.
