Yah but I feel like I'm not getting medicated enough but maybe that's just me, thanks a lot! That looks like my Blackberry Kush when spent. Did you get medicated? That's probably your best indicater.

Do you stir 1/2 through your session?Okay thanks my avb looks like this after i can no longer get anymore vapor. I was just afraid because I accidently dropped my unit yesterday.
Alvinhw, have you just started vaping? If you have it will take your system a couple of weeks to get used to the change. Change will happen and you will be healthier for it.
You said you tried a higher temp. I vape at 4 and 5, I bump it up to 6 dry sometimes. I use the higher temps for a water tool.
You may want to check out some of the WTs on the cheap bubbler thread.
I just bought a D020, it's the bomb!
Good luck.
Some flower doesn't vape down very much, others readily turn dark chocolate brown.Yah but I feel like I'm not getting medicated enough but maybe that's just me, thanks a lot!

thanks for the advice and I started vaping 3 weeks ago and i plan on sticking to it, I just wanted to make sure it was the herb and not my unit because i dropped it yesterday xD. Thanks alot guysIf you're new to vaping, go back and check CK's post. Hold off any such judgements for now.
When you balze your mind associates getting stoned with all the nasty junk in smoke. The two get linked. You need to teach your mind you don't have to stick your face in the campfire to get off. This means 'lay off all blazing' for a week or two, vape away, but stop the association of the rush you get from the nasty stuff with the benefit of THC. You can get a buzz off sniffing a city bus exhaust too.
After a couple weeks (or whenever you're truly weaned off smoke) try a joint. You'll find it's just as repulsive as it was the first time, but now your mind knows it's not a necessary step to getting high on THC. I think it's the very rare guy who doesn't experience this.
So, give it a fair chance. No cheating. Vape only for a while and see why we're all so sold on the idea?

I've said it before, for some reason some of the "Platinum" strains (Platinum Bubba, GSC, etc) don't like to turn very dark brown, even on 7 with a dome screen. Are you inhaling too fast ?
You can't smoke it like a joint .
On level 7 , the ABV should be darker .
I feel you may be inhaling too quickly , and Not allowing the herbs to fully cook . Just a guess , try letting the stem go thru 2 sessions at 7 .
Draw slower , allow the herbs to cook between hits .
It should get darker than the pic you posted . jme

Got some exceptional Blue Dream going right now. Fantastic at 2... and doesn't turn as dark brown as the other stuff I had before. Maybe I can get it a little darker but I don't feel like there's much left to warrant it... something to experiment with tonight.
Have you tried starting at 3-4 and slowly going up until you get to 7? Does this still cause you lung irritation? Just curious, it does bother my lungs at 7 but not if I slowly go up in temp (lowering vapor to air ratio)I keep my Solo vape temp levels on 3-4..
I never go to 7.. I tried it and didn't like it. If I'm going to go to 7, I'll just smoke a bowl. To me the whole point of vaping is being healthy. Personally, I feel when I go to level 7 it gets a little harsh on my lungs. That defeats the whole purpose of the Solo but to each their own.

Yeah that's how I did it when I was experimenting with 7.
Did your experiments include a WT or bubbler? I too find step 7 'barefoot' too intense for enjoyment. But with some water in the game I can go for the heavy stuff when the mood/need strikes.
Otherwise, I typically run on four without giving it much thought. Two leisurely sessions and I'm ready for a fresh load usually. "Spiking" it with some bubble or other concentrate alters that of course.

But like I said I'd rather just smoke a bowl if I'm going to do that. Just my preference though..
Thanks for the prompt answer. Yes, I got that from before. It concerned me which is why I asked. If your solution is to just go back to blazing for a bit IMO that's a bad situation. Avoiding the byproducts of combustion is what we're about here you know. It takes most guys a week or two of no combustion at all to 'clean up' and get in the groove. Backsliding just resets that 'timer', and in the end can make the hill higher to climb.
Your call, of course, but if you're really resorting to a bowl from time to time I'd like to encourage you to try a modest WT instead? You get to save a pile of bucks on bud bills and we get to enjoy your company longer......

You tell me!So after a disappointing experience trying to get a flowermate, I've decided to bite the bullet, pay more dollars and get a Solo, as seemingly everyone here loves 'em.
One question though and feel free to point me back to an older post;
I have an SSV, love the hits that I get from it and am not expecting miracles, but how does the vapour compare between these units?
