I guess we really need more feedback from members who own both a PA and the newer model solo. I was able to keep the charge function from coming on even at lower battery levels if the power level is set before the green charge light starts flashing. Pipes, I daresay you could benefit by knowing the answer to this!
Test 1: Battery Level 4
Plugged in 8.5V 5.65A Power Adapter
Let it initialize.
Set power to level 7
Just let it heat(red light flashing for 12 minutes).
The green light stayed off until heater timed out at 12 minutes.
Test2: Battery Level 4
Plugged in 8.5V 5.65A Power Adapter
Let it initialize.
Set power to level 6
Just let it heat(red light flashing for 12 minutes)
The green light stayed off until heater timed out at 12 minutes.
Test3: Battery Level 3
Plugged in 8.5V 5.65A Power Adapter
Let it initialize.
Set power to level 5
Just let it heat(expected it to time out at 12 minutes)
But, the green light came on after 3 minutes.
I just completed the same testing as last time .
Using the Pa on the New version Solo , with a Fully Charged
battery to start .
It lasted 6 sessions on level 7 like last time , except this time the Green flashing light started to blink in mid-session . At about 1 hour and 10 minutes . So I don't think , beating the charging function by resetting the temp first , will actually work .
I'd plugged it back onto the regular charger , and it needed
charging . It was still on 7 , and needed about 20 minutes to
finish . The same results basically .
iirc , my old Solo Did Not lose any charge after using the PA .
When plugged back in after use , it was still Fully charged .
It's 3 yrs old now , so it doesn't hold the Full charge anymore .
Can anyone confirm with the Old Solo holding Full Charge after using the PA ?
