do you think arizer wants to attack storz&bickel mighty sales with the solo2 ?
they both are session vapes with display and quick heating time.
mighty might be stronger and have a more evenly extraction but this powerhouse is still and will stay very expensive.

what was the introduction price witch SOLO1 and AIR ?
does anyone remember ?

solos strenghts has allways been reliability, flavor and built quality.
i hope they keep these traits

and now they add great battery life to the equation.
I hope the user can change the battery

the taste is better, you are right.
but the ABV is evenly roasted and I think the mighty extracts more goodies.
No draw resistance, thick clouds from beginning to end, and capsules.
it's a nice machine.

yes, very expensive.
but made from tested materials and the only vape besides the aromed that is considered save by medical institutions.

ok, this is a solo thread.

A mighty can be bought for 222$ used.
no need to pay 400 bucks

Our REAL ESTATE prices a kind of high. (good investment)
If I can save on spending I will.

I would just smoke joints if I didn't bother everyone around me.

VAPORIZERS allow me to consume CANNABIS without offending the people around me. (FLAVOR as well)

I have very strong options!

I would say sorry, however that is how I see it!

SOLO is all you really need! $/value/CIVILIZED

The airflow of the Solo II is virtually identical to the original Solo.
I've seen the fix for the airflow blocking on the pic of Solo II chamber (that wide and shallow cnc around each of the 4 air holes). So it might be a little better than original Solo. But newer Solos adn Airs might have that fix too.

The new Solo II looks like a very nice improvement to me. I think it pretty much has all that is to improve on Solo without making it something else or introducing new issues.

I like the one one smaller dimension.
I like the improved housing with a metal bottom - no more broken plastic around the screws, yay! (I've never broke that on my Solo, but pretty much every other Solo I've seen has these broken)
Also can't see that very clearly, but the bowl seems to look exactly like the newer Air bowls, which fixed both problems of the original Solo - airflow blockage fixed with these cnc and stem grip fixed with o-rings.
The improved battery life seems nice, but I personally prefer the Air's solution - one replaceable.
Temp display is another nice improvement, I'm happy enough with the step settings of the originals, but hey, every improvement matters and other people might appreciate more than me.

I will not be buying this one, even when I like it. Because I already have the original Solo and the Air and don't crave those improvement as much to be willing to pay another full price to get them. But if you don't have one of these, it should be on your radar. :)

@TheChillBud is the draw resistance any better than the Air? I remember hearing that the solo1 had slightly better air flow than the Air.

The air does my lungs in... :(
@snamuh - try this little trick, instead of closing your mouth over the stem completely (making it air tight) put the stem between your lips and leave your mouth open on either side and breath in through your mouth normally. You will still get big clouds and your lungs won't hurt - works for me everytime.

so it's a display, accurate temperature setting, faster heating, longer battery life and a improved housing.

Also a beefed up heater with ability to maintain temp better and a new max ceiling of 220c....the ability to vape LESS than 185c (which is HUGE!) and the ability to increase the shutoff timer an extra 3 minutes and now actually (i think?) decrease it less than the default 12.

Anything else i'm forgetting? Ability to change the volume of the sound lol

a beefed up heater?
sure?
i thought it would perform as good as the ol´solo.
better temperature stability would be a good thing.

with the ol´Solo you have to wait aprox 30-60 sec between draws for it to reheat.

Am I sure? No, I don't have the Solo 2 in my hands. I'm just reporting what I have read. Perhaps @TheChillBud can elaborate further for us? Have you ripped it hard at 210 or 220? Is the heater blinking alot?

I wish I already had this in my hands!

I had 3 days with the Solo II.
I was not a fan, due to a less deep oven, and a tighter fit that made me nervous inserting the stem.(though, we all know about the first stem entry, and how we must "break the gateway in ".
The first few hits were about like using the Arizer air... they cooled down the oven too fast, and it was not until hit 4 that vapor began to become tasty.
I had to return the unit to the sender, as he promised others they could "have a go" at it.
Same as my feeling toward the "Air".....
For now I will stick with the Solo Originals.
I admit to being set in my ways, and resistant to change once I like an original unit!

Yes.
My Air has been designated a community loaner, but in between users I will give it a shot now and then..
The Solo 2 was about like the Air in hit density, and the body got a bit warmer than the Solo original.
I prefer the buttons on the Solo too... but as I said earlier:
I admit to being set in my ways, and resistant to change once I like an original unit!

FUCK CANCER TOO !
I suppose the Solo II may be a lot like Chevrolet's Impala used to be...minor upgrade and body changes every few years. Everyman's vehicle...nothing to write home about. There's a great deal of competition in the vape market right now...Arizer's pricing on this release will be interesting!
