When I pack loosely (but full) as recommended, I don't notice any draw resistance at all. I always use the curved mouthpiece.
I tend to agree with you, I seldom find objectionable draw resistance in typical vapes. But that's
mighty subjective. As a 'sipper' I get it that others are different? As a relative measure almost any vape is more restricted than say a Volcano bag?
I think it's safe to say most if not all makers experiment with this in development. Generally they want it as open as possible without 'overrunning' vapor production? As I said before PVHES generally ended up disappointing folks who thought it was an easy (and obvious) route to 'big clouds'.
I even played around with trying to make absolute measurements here. Like connecting a vape to the top of a sealed jar of water with a siphon drain line in it's bottom set up on my patio table (fixed height). Then timing how long (in seconds) it took to drain the water out, replacing it with air drawn through the vape, when the drain hose was dropped onto the ground.
That would give is a way of ranking draw resistances. But to make it viable would mean a lot of testing and a lot of vapes to test.........
As an alternative, if you send me your vape I'll let you know how restricted it really is. No need to thank me, I'm glad to help out when I can.
Oh, yeah, you should send me some of your stash too, of course, for best accuracy.
Regards to all.
