Arizer Solo II

I'm really leaning towards the solo II..... Ive had the air for a few yrs now and love it.

Waiting to see how the Boundless Tera looks after their fix...... Its supposedly full convection and dual batteries that can be replaced......off gassing and all plastic is worrisome

The solo II mystic blue looks cool.... Anyone not like the color when they received it..?

Would my air wpa work on the solo II?

Thanks

Wow, for my second go with the Solo II I tamped the load a bit and it was the first time I really understood what people mean by flavor... which is slightly weird since the Gaia, one of my portables, is supposed to be good at that.

I am really enjoying my Solo 2, thanks to this thread.

Looking to add some accessories. What are you guys using and what do you like? Thinking about a curved/bent stem and maybe a bubbler.

Glad you like your new Solo II, it's an easy thing to do......it's an excellent unit based on an already great unit.

I suggest you try PIU's little bubbler stem:
http://www.puffitup.com/Arizer-Air-Solo-H2O-Filtration-Stem-p/qtqc.solo-bubb.htm

Not a lot of cooling/filtering but it does a great job of adding moisture and it 'can't spill'. The bent stem is very popular:

IMO very nice for 'relaxed/casual use'. FWIW I just ordered a Black version today, since I've yet to try it I can't recommend it but given it's PIU I'd be very surprised if it was disappointing:

Regards to all.

You can’t go wrong with a Solo, the OG or the revised Solo 2. For me the extra money for the 2 was worth it. It’s been great while I recoup on the couch. No stem to fall out and break plus the convience of no cord. The battery will last you a long time before it needs to be charged up. I’ve been supplementing my pain meds. I have the mystic blue and it’s beautiful. Normally I go with black but glad I chose the blue.

Normally a little early to vape but not today. Some pain meds, ice and the Solo 2 loaded with some GrapeApe. My temps at 378 and I’m using the smaller standard stem. That’s been my fave stem. I do have the small hydro tube that you can get through @PuffItUp and I do use that sometimes. I have some WT but don’t get them out much unless it’s a Sherlock glass piece.

My standard Solo bent stem from the OG Solo fits my Solo 2.

Solo2 is a amazing vaporizer, I am always so pleased with mine whenever I use it! Going to be heading out later today for a family function and will definitely have my solo2 with me! Going to make sure I have it charged up to 85-90% (although if I were to forget it wouldnt be a problem its still at 65-70% probably which is way more than enough for a evening if need be) I just try to avoid doing full cycle charges/discharges thanks to great advice I got in this thread.

Hope your pain get better @CarolKing Im sure that Grape Ape will do nicely for that.

Most herbal Vapes give improved flavour when compared to combustion. But not many (if any) give consistent flavour hits than the Solo range. It's never hit or miss with a Solo. Load it and hit it and the first 2 to 3 hits will be yum yum yum.

Amen. Solo/Air is a dependable tool for extracting vapor from your herb. Consistently.

It both puts you in control of what happens and sets you free from worry it won't come off as planned. Leaves you free to enjoy.

I like that in a vape.

My Solo II is now my favorite vape. My gf is a bit more prone to coughing even at lower temps. Someone on the J hook thread was saying the Solo II was too large and unwieldy to use flipped into a J hook. What would you folks suggest to make the vapor cooler than using the longer included stem? I don't own any bongs or bubblers and I've been looking at dhgate and feeling uncertain about all the options despite working from the list of approved sellers on another thread.

I should mention that I have a DaVinci water mouthpiece compatible with the wpa of my Fury 2 and I think the cooling results are pretty negligible and it's hard to use it with a small enough amount of water that it doesn't become a problem. It's this one...

I like the scope H2O mouthpiece way better. I have both & i dont like the filtration stem at all
https://www.puffitup.com/The-Scope-14mm-H2O-Mouthpiece-p/qctq.14mm-f_bubb-bla.htm. A cheap 8" egg bubbler from Dh gate is even better

Cool. Looks like a tinted glass version of PNWT or 'F Bomb' (both long popular with many vapes that allow vertical hits)?

Attractive price, and better performance than small units (but not as good as larger ones?) but it's kinda big for a portable? Where as the stem type is no larger than normal, needs only one hand and can't spill.

I gave up using my PNWT in the field. Even dumping the water and carrying some in a bottle in another pocket gave me a wet pocket for my troubles. Fine for home use I think though.

The tinting will keep it from looking as nasty when it gets fouled........

Thanks for the link.

I have been playing around more with my Solo 2 and I have found starting at 370°F and taking 3 hits, then moving up 10° at time taking 3 hits every 10° until finishing off at 410°F a very efficient use of my herb. I am getting about 15 goods hits on a bowl and then it is toast.

What methods have worked nice for you?

Sometimes I temp step a bit when I have really special flower, starting at 160-170c and going up to 210c. Usually though, I just go in right at 210c and get 10-15 puffs probably I dont really count anymore. If I'm using concentrates wrapped in cotton, Ill set it to 220c usually (it works really well for this!)

I decided to have a nice solo2 stem on my way home from the clinic today, most days I wait till later in the day but sometimes you just gotta have a puff and loosen the joints. I ran out of my Warlock+CBD unfortunately, but I should have more today so thats good. I find the CBD+THC combination to be the ultimate for pain relief, and just in general the combo is fantastic!

Wishing everyone a merry Monday

This is the best vaporizer to tempreture stair step with, using the highest temp at the end. You can try to get all the goodies from your flowers there at the end.

This unit works great in bed. Either to use before dropping off to sleep or in the middle of the night when the pain comes back. I’ve been dealing with a lot of throbbing in my thigh. I’m trying to cut back on pain meds and use the vaporizer more. Sometimes it’s too hard and I have to do both.

Form factor and a short stem means I can use my Solo II just about anywhere. It draws little attention, I look just like an e-cig user.

I don't temp step much, I like high temps and hit it straight up to 220c but if my flower is dry enough I will start at 195 and enjoy the flavor.

This is a no fuss vape that works great every (every) time.
