I have a small plastic container with locking lid i fill with alcohol, I put my stems in it and let them soak then shake the container good and they come out clean.I'm Mr Clean.
This is what it looks like for me after 2 months of daily use.
I clean with ISO and toothpaste every 2-3 days
Adding a good amount of salt speeds up this process a lot. This mixture also works great on my bongs. One minute shaking and a rinse makes them cleaner than a 2 hour soak. Hot ISO is also very effective, but it takes some time and effort. And it smells. Gotta love salt!I have a small plastic container with locking lid i fill with alcohol, I put my stems in it and let them soak then shake the container good and they come out clean.
I think that might kill me!Put a solo 3 in 1 hole and put a solo 2 or other vape in the other hole
There are worse deaths than thisI think that might kill me!
The S3 has a lot of conduction but there is also some convection at play. I’d recommend sticking to one temp on session mode for now, and experimenting with your draw speed to see what sort of control you can gain over the roast.I recently got the solo 3 and I'm having a lot of fun, I noticed that if I exceed the temp 3 in on demand mode I risk combustion while at 3 it comes out a little too light for my standard, I can't find a perfect avb, even in session I have the same problem, even at 190 C
Temperature is also controlled by your draw speed. I contacted Arizer lately, this is what they wrote on heating:I recently got the solo 3 and I'm having a lot of fun, I noticed that if I exceed the temp 3 in on demand mode I risk combustion while at 3 it comes out a little too light for my standard, I can't find a perfect avb, even in session I have the same problem, even at 190 C
So it's probably my fault..I pull too hard, I'll experiment againTemperature is also controlled by your draw speed. I contacted Arizer lately, this is what they wrote on heating:
„In Both Modes (Session & On Demand) the oven temperature is regulated and stabilized based on airflow rate during use with a finely-tuned hybrid heat ratio of 80% Convection, 20% Conduction.“
So you can hit it harder for a darker roast and vice versa.
I will say no. The first first draws will have less conduction, but eventually the metal and glass will heat up (from the hot hair and oven heat) and provide some conduction.I wanted a smaller dose, so I tried packing less, which works OK. I also got a dosing cap from Ali and tried it. The cap is a little too large for the standard tube, but Given I use the Solo3 inverted, the cap never actually touches the bottom of the oven. Does this mean the results are full convection?
Really! All the male stoners here any no jokes about this? I giggled. So it's probably my fault..I pull too hard, I'll experiment again
Thanks. That makes sense.I will say no. The first first draws will have less conduction, but eventually the metal and glass will heat up (from the hot hair and oven heat) and provide some conduction.
I lost mine and asked them. They do not sell or provide them otherwise. Though they did send my device back from repair with a new one installed! Perhaps if enough people ask for it?Crud. I lost the little cap/plug that sits on the top of the device to protect the oven. I like that little plug as it helps keep the scent under control. Anyone know where to get a replacement? I could not find it on the Arizer site. I sent Arizer a message asking about it. Hopefully there is a way to get a replacement.
Sucks there's no replacement. Maybe you could cut a shape from a sheet of silicone or make a plug/cap out of cork from a wine bottle?Crud. That sucks, I‘m actually afraid for this to happen to my device since I have it. Do you know how it could have come loose from the unit? I definitely want to avoid that as I love that little lid for its convenience.Crud. I lost the little cap/plug that sits on the top of the device to protect the oven. Good luck finding it. Maybe your dog can help? Those little fellas are simply amazing.I had a larger stem (the gordito bubbler) and I was walking my dog. It mush have popped it off somehow. I think I know where it might be on the sidewalk, but there's a lot of vegetation there. I will check tomorrow when there is sunlight.
I killed my old one trying to take it apart lol! If I can get the cap off without damage, you can have it pm me.Crud.
