The real test for me is when it’s below zero. Twenties and thirties are no big deal for the solo or air in my experience.

Lithium batteries don't like extreme hot or cold. It's best to make an effort to keep the device warm or on your body vs keeping it in your car on a frigid day and starting it up. This is more of a chemistry issue in general than something a battery can solve on its own.

New here been reading a long time on OG solo thread. Have had OG for 6 years on 3rd battery current one high capacity rocks out 12 sessions! Used solo for long time after having an OG davinci. Then I got a pax 3 did not use more than 10 times smh! Back to solo for awhile. Then I got into carts the last couple years as the little one got older and did not have green ... Then my guy gave me a couple nugs I ran through the solo (they were awesome)! That was 2 weeks ago. Just ordered my Argo from POTV and a curved 3D flow stem from 420. Also ordered a couple Panasonic batteries and a charger, although I just saw the 35s are better on here? Anything else I need or need to know? Thanks

The new specification is the Samsung 35E, just wanted to pass this along as the spec given further up this page was for the old Panasonic NCR18650B cell.

Sometimes things aren't really like when you 'read it on the web'. Like this change gives better low temperature performance. Arizer might think so, but the folks that make the two 18650s in question don't agree. Samsung says theirs is rated from minus 10 to plus 60C:

OTOH, Panasonic says theirs is rated for minus 20 to plus 60:

I've never been big on this metric thing, I'm still hopeful it'll blow over like other things born of hatred of history, but when I went to school minus 20C was colder than minus 10.........

Now the new cell is rated at higher continuous current (which we can't take advantage of in this case since we don't draw that much) and it does have slightly higher capacity (5%) which while useful IMO is not going to give you any useful extra vaping times. As I see it, either is a great choice here, but it's basically a push?

@OF from our back & forths with Arizer, I'm guessing the higher current is the logic for the change in regard to cold. If I had to guess, the Samsung could be saving them some coin considering the quantites they move.

That was my guess as well, FWIW. Not that I have anything against such motives generally. In a perfect world such things lead to lower prices for us?

Low temperature advantages seem undocumented and IMO are very modest at best since the 18650 is going to 'warm up' in use. For sure such claims are far from uncommon in this market.....sales being king and all.

I got an Argo about a week ago. I have a good supply of spare batteries as I have three others with swapable batteries. I have the LG H2 that have worked well in all my vapes. They work fine in the Argo. Haven't checked to see how much time I get from them. They are all three + years old but I never discharge them below 50% and I have 6 of them so they all still have lots of life in them.

I just picked up a FM Cap Pro from a black friday sale. I wanted something with decent performance but still discreet to carry in a pocket.

The only real complaint I have about it is the odor it puts off. Even when in your pocket, center console, etc... It smells like a dispensary. Part of being discreet is not smelling like you're firing up everywhere you go.

Can you smell the Argo like that? I mean even when not in use... Can you tell it's nearby?

miren le cuento tengo el argo desde hace ya será un año .. no hay problemas el mejor vaporizador que tuve .. y e tenido 2 más .. primero el pax3 pero me duró solo 1 mes .. basura al parecer era chino .. después compre el cfx bloundless y si cumplía lo suyo .. rapidísimo .. y rico el sabor exelente .pero los errores eran que consumía mucha hierba y se hacía muy difícil de limpiar . Pues ese le di Ami hermano y me compré el arizer argo a 180 $ pues ya va ser un año que lo tengo y pues wuaooo me encanta ultra portáti se limpia de una debes en cuando se limpia el cristal ..bueno eso ya se me rompió bastantes compré con las extenciónes y si cambia bastante porque obtiene más vapor bueno mira . La cosa que hace un mes compre una batería con estuche que indica la señal de batería ..dos extenciones de vidrio . .. y desde esa fecha comenzó MI ARIZER ALA MITAD DE BATERIA ME DICE low Charger .. y se apaga .. pensé que era pornelnfrio pero nosé que pasa .. algien me puede ayudar con todo eso .. y si alguien a tenido problema similar

look, I have the argo for a year now .. no problems the best vaporizer I had .. ye had 2 more .. first the pax3 but it lasted only 1 month .. garbage apparently was Chinese .. Then I bought the bloundless cfx and if it did its thing ... very fast ... and the excellent flavor was rich. But the errors were that it consumed a lot of grass and was very difficult to clean. Well, that I gave to Ami brother and I bought the arizer argo at $ 180 because it will be a year that I have it and well, wuaooo I love ultra-portable it is cleaned one must at a time when the glass is cleaned ... I bought enough with the extensions and if it changes a lot because it gets more steam well look. The thing that a month ago I bought a battery with a case that indicates the battery sign ... two glass extensions. .. and from that date my ARIZER WING HALF BATTERY TELLS ME low Charger .. and it turns off .. I thought it was cold but I don't know what happens .. someone can help me with all that .. and if someone has had a similar problem

I don't think there's any debate about the fact that the Argo had to compromise on a few things (compared to the Air/Air 2) as it prioritized portability. Both devices are excellent at what they try to achieve, you just have to be aware that the Argo sacrificed a bit of air flow for the sake of stealth and portability.

I still use the Argo above the Air most of the time because it just fits my use case better, and I find the airflow on the Argo to be just fine, even though the Air may technically be superior.

You can't go wrong with any Arizer product, IMO, a far as usability and durability goes.

I think at some point Samsung didn't want people to use their batteries with vapes.

I just wanted to say that this is still my favorite sipping vape.

I take this thing and a couple preloaded bowls with me whenever I'm gonna be out and about.

It's not my daily driver (that's the dynavap), but if I have time to just sit around and enjoy the vape, the ArGo gets the job.

I can't really tell a difference between the two. Pack the stem lightly and the draw is very easy on both. If you pack it hard, I think due to the extra length of the Argo stem, it might be more restrictive. Performance wise, I found neither like to be packed hard.




I dropped my Air2 a while back and inquired at Arizer about getting the display or the whole board replaced at my expense. I was surprised to be informed that this was not possible, but if it was still under warranty, they would fix it. As it was two years old, I thought there was no way it was still under warranty. I was a few days past, but told close enough to send it for repair.

I wanted to have a replacement before sending it back and purchased an Argo to try something different. I like the easy menu, replaceable battery and precise heat settings. Like the Air2 it seems to be really well built. I liked almost everything about it, but 2 things really bugged me. One was having my lips on the body itself when taking a hit, and if used heavily, the hits are hot and irritated me. I understand the stealth of the short stem, but I rarely ever have to worry about hiding what I'm doing while vaping.

I found an aftermarket stem that is longer with cooling spikes and a carb hole. I have to say I'm quite surprised at how much more enjoyable
this stem made the experience. No lips touching the body of the Argo, and the hits are so much cooler. The only thing I don't like is the carb hole, it's useless for me. The extended length and spikes do more than enough to cool the vapor, and I really don't need to clear out 2"x 3/8" glass tube. I might try to fill the hole with a drop of epoxy,

Take a look at the Minivap. Medical grade desktop performance on the go. The only downside is it's bulky, not too stealthy, but if you don't mind that ^^ it doesn't get any better than that

420EDC has an assortment of extended stems for the Argo. I have a couple of long, striaght tubes and thye are justwhat the Argo needed.
