This thing is awesome.
Great build quality.
Easier draw.
Smooth/cool vapor (I'm not really sure how they do that with nothing between me and a 385 degree oven but a short glass tube.)
Very cool form factor. Very cool.
If you've ever wished that you could just throw your Solo or Air in your pocket or pack and not worry about it...now you can.
One final note....in my excitement to try this thing, I forgot to do my usual burn-offs. No new vape taste or smell AT ALL. I'm not recommending that you skip the burn-off...just pointing out that their manufacturing processes must be pretty clean.

Oh, in the video i left the material kind of ambiguous.
I did confirm that the top portion of the body is anodized aluminum and the bottom half is a thermoset plastic (not metallic alloy coated in plastic)

So? The Crafty is ~$160 more than the Alternate and build quality aside I think the Alternate is a better vaporizer with more options. Price doesn't always dictate which vaporizer is better. If the Fury 2 had a replacable battery im 100% sure I would prefer it to the ArGo.

It has nothing to do with quality. Our posts were stating that it's significantly more money than the Fury 2. On sale the Fury 2 is $130 so you could by 2 Fury 2's for an additional $10. The ArGo is a lot of money. And I'm sure a large part of the price is that you are buying the Arizer name/reputation.

I was pondering it yesterday and thinking wrapping the unit with one of those silicone wristbands/bracelets might work. Hopefully make it more drop-safe too.

After I don't have a Grasshopper any more, I don't have a device that I can use unobtrusively in public. At home I feel very comfortable with the VapCaps and OG Brick. The Argo looks small and compact. I like that very much, as well as the exchangeable battery. And that it's a standard battery format. That this device is not ready as fast as a hopper doesn't really bother me. But somehow I also find the ARGO a little expensive.

this is my first Arizer product, so I can compare it to their Solo but I can compare it to a lot of other vapes and it's definitely a top vape imo. Definitely more flavor and better vapor than the Alternate, a vape I enjoy and is very on par with Crafty and Mighty vapor, very similar too as far as temps, vapor production, flavor and extraction efficiency and I would take the ARGO over my Crafty, simply because its smaller, faster, has a removable batt, full on-board temp control, much longer battery life and the vapor and heating is very comparable, at least at 356F where I compared both vapes. A lot more convection going on than I expected, at least at lower temps for 5 minute sessions, probably more conduction with higher temps and longer sessions but really quite impressive.
Anyone know where the Black Glass Solo and Air stems came from? I really hope they make them for the ARGO and make a sweet little bent stem too! heres two pics with the Crafty/Mighty glass mouthpiece on the ArGo and it rips! Just had to use a thicker piece of silicone tube to hold it snuggly in the ArGo Mouthpiece!
You can also buy these little corks at Ace HArdware that fit the ArGo mouthpiece ends for dust/debris prevention.

I'm not finding smell to be a problem with this vape but you might want to consider one of those spongy foam ear plugs if you are worried about smell or debris in the mouthpiece. I read that somewhere (possibly another forum) and it works great. Cheap and effective.

This thing is a BEAST.
It is insanely portable. Has an unbelievable draw resistance (almost none) and produces huge clouds for me. Right on par with my hopper. I have seen a few people comment on smell but there are caps that can cover the stem.
The bowl is a decent size. Probably close to the Solo if not exactly the same.

My only complaint is that the plastic feels a LITTLE cheap but it has a good weight to it. This is if I am searching for a weakness.
Edit: in regard to heat up time it is really a non issue for me. After the first use in a session it heats up significantly faster.
Edit 2: high as fuck after a spread out 40 minute session. Battery barely moved.

As I said above, I found that standard 1/2 inch ID vinyl caps fit 'perfectly' if I leave the cover in the retracted position (just push the cap on the 3/8 inch or so of exposed glass). You can see the critter hisself on the lower right:
The cap length is 'just right' so there's a small gap at the top (above the stem lip) you can dig your thumbnail into a pop the cap off without disturbing the stem. When I tried a cork (number 1 IIRC?) it stuck up and kept getting knocked out. The earplug idea might fix that although I had a 'bad flash' of the sucker getting pushed in a bit too far..... Then the cap idea came along and the fit was 'perfect' first time.
The caps I have 'kicking around' and use in several applications. It's the same size as I use to cap loaded Solo/Air stems in fact:
The bowl one is high temperature (stiff) but can be put on a hot stem without problems. It's cut short to make it easier to get on and off (it's a stretch). The MP end is too small to fit well so I use a short piece of Silicone tube as a shim which also 'takes care' of a tight seal on the oval MP. Here the common (soft) 'hardware store' caps work best. Also with ArGo, the hard ones don't work well at all (too hard to get on and off and tend to pull the entire stem out if you're not careful.
Lots of fixes to try, one more for your consideration.

Right, quite small. But does it suffer from the same problem as the DaVinci IQ, which gets apparently uncomfortably hot to hold?
This was also an issue with pen-style conduction vapes having a metal body (ex: X-Max V2 etc) Maybe the plastic parts used here are the key?

You know, I gotta say the 1st impressions for this vape are really good, & I'd be lying if I said I didn't get that instant VAS rush of adrenaline. But for the life-of-me, I just can't get passed that this tiny portable is, to me, way overpriced for such a simplistic &, dare I say, inexpensive design, regardless of the it's health-conscious components. And when I say this, be aware that I'm one of the ones that spent the $295 on the Ghost MV-1. So I'm 95% sure I'm out, but will find it interesting to follow this thread & hear other purchasers' comments. Now if I win a worthwhile lottery, I'd be in. 
Want to add that some hours ago, l went to the Arizer website & they made a mistake on their pricing. Did anyone else see it? The ArGo was listed at $329 I believe, on sale for $299. My jaw went
. I see now that they corrected it.
