The Vriptech heat wand is a glass heater and vapor path!
Not true, the NewVape FlowerPot has only titanium and glass in the air path, no stainless. The screens are titanium.
I have had a vriptech, there is still a SS screen, and i believe the air still touches the ceramic heater.
They have glass screens now, and I don't think the air does touch the heater, the whole idea of the Vriptech is clean heat from the all glass heating surface. From the website "VCB4.2 bowls come with one custom fitted glass screen for all glass path, purity and polarity!" They also write "Our heater has an IC or integrated circuit-type element that is encapsulated in alumina ceramic which is then covered with our proprietary glass cover so that the actual heat exchange heating the convective stream with which you extract vapor and inhale is 100% glass for NEUTRAL POLARITY HEAT! This is the VRIP DIFFERENCE!"
So I think it is an all glass heater and vapor path these days.
Nice. My Fury 2 delivery date got pushed forward to today, so I should hopefully be trying it very soon! Anyone know if I need to fully charge the battery before first use, and I think I heard I should clean after every use, or is it every bowl?
Definitely charge it fully before using for first time. And clean the oven and mouthpiece first. Then do a couple of burn offs before first use. If you need more details, as someone else mentioned, check out the Fury thread.Nice. My Fury 2 delivery date got pushed forward to today, so I should hopefully be trying it very soon! @invertedisdead - you are incorrect. It is a completely isolated air path. @PuffItUp did a tear down last year:
https://blog.puffitup.com/2018/01/fury-2-teardown-new-year-new-vape-destruction/
assuming it is isolated as stated the herb goes in a glass piece that then seats into the fury2 herb chamber. the herb is only touching glass and all vapor through glass at that point ETC.... at least how I use the fury vape it is all glass to vapor trail then mouth... nothing in betweenI'm familiar with their tear-down, I even referenced their photos in my post!
Maybe the air path is more isolated than I think. Like I said, I've never used one - the tear down looks like there are a few potential areas for air to leak through to me, but if that's not true I do certainly apologize.
Regardless, the whole vape seems pretty far off from the all glass purity the OP originally inquired about. Those types of vapes do exist, this is not one of them.
Ironically, the "cleanest" and "purest" vaporizers I've seen tend to be DIY designs.
What about the air between the outside of the vape and the top of the heater?assuming it is isolated as stated the herb goes in a glass piece that then seats into the fury2 herb chamber. the herb is only touching glass and all vapor through glass at that point ETC.... at least how I use the fury vape it is all glass to vapor trail then mouth... nothing in between
heater is separate of the airway , an isolated airway. as far as I know fresh air comes in through the holes in the bottom and enters the isolated air way and gets heated as it goes through there and then enters the herb chamber to vaporize the goodies withinWhat about the air between the outside of the vape and the top of the heater?

Honestly, I'm interested in buying the cleanest and purest vape. I don't really want to make a whole hobby and learn how to do it myself, and risk doing it myself wrong and blowing up my face with a battery. What's something you recommend as completely clean without my room looking like a stoner's paradise. I really don't want huge bongs filled with water, and pipes running halfway around my room, and I don't want a separate torch lighter, or some other cumbersome nonsense like it's gonna shatter if I look at it too hard, or a plastic bag to inhale from and cancel out the vape not having plastic in it.Ironically, the "cleanest" and "purest" vaporizers I've seen tend to be DIY designs.
I did listen to users here, and bought a vape they suggested (and multiple people liked the suggestion) and no one objected to until days later after it had been delivered and I was vaping out of it. What do you recommend I upgrade to? And what do you mean chinese factory farts? Do you think it might be coated with random factory chemicals? You have made me suitably paranoid, though. (EDIT: oh shit, I just remembered people recommended cleaning it out thoroughly when I first got it, and i didn't use alcohol cuz I was paranoid about the alcohol residue. I'm fucked) Now I'm questioning any slightly odd feeling. I'm out $100 which at this moment in my life is quite a bit, so I can't afford something new just yet, but I guess I should start researching now, since there are clearly not many good options. For sure......I hope the OP likes Chinese factory farts with the F2...I know I did not like them after 5+ burn offs.... put it back in the box and sold it.........NEXT.
OP...best thing for you to do if you want clean not harsh and good tasting healthy vapor......do not listen to what you read from manufactures. Listen to what well experienced user's here say when they compare one vape to another.
You are miles away from where you intended to be.....but at leaset you will have a back up emergency vape now.
How fragile are we talking about. Also, can I just use it as a vaporizer? Every picture I see of it being used is people like hooking it up to bongs. What is the minimum I'd need to use it and safely store it between uses? Also how big is it? I would just go by photos, but I did that with the fury 2, and this way smaller than I thought it was gonna be.The vriptech heat wand is great on taste but its fragile firstly, needs to be kept in a cup for that radiating heat for lower temperature hits to be substantial, the vapour is less in quantity owing to the heater which is not as heavy duty.
All said and done, with all its limitations i still think its the best tasting vaporizer out there and was way ahead of its time.

Are there any downsides the e-nano or the vriptech wand?, and are the claims they have all glass vapor paths legit? Could I use rosin in either of these?

Most of the hardcore members here do not share your concerns, that does not mean they are not valid. My two first choices 1) NewVape FlowerPot 2) Splinter Z w/XL8R cooling stem imho do not meet you criteria. What's something you recommend as completely clean without my room looking like a stoner's paradise. Your post is one of many that proceed it, new member looking for a vape and not wanting to read and sift through copious amounts of material here and elsewhere to find out what appeals to them without being unduly steered. It takes time for members to find threads and respond, even if said members are on daily. In other words, had this thread simmered longer this feedback may have come. I share your pain every time a new vape thread is posted. How long do you wait for other impressions to percolate and be posted. Who are members that have similar likes or impressions to yours and then look to what they're saying. In your case, you're not taking the time to filter the feedback, which is fine a personal choice.I did listen to users here, and bought a vape they suggested (and multiple people liked the suggestion) and no one objected to until days later after it had been delivered and I was vaping out of it.
It requires some find of glass piece, like a J-Hook.can I just use it as a vaporizer?
So, my main concern is like healthy unadulterated vapor, for the sake of it being healthy. as @YaMon said most people don't share that concern to the same degree I do with materials and such. Would you say that people who go for 'good vapor' end up getting to the same goal but for different reasons? As I stated before, if this vape is inferior for 80 reasons, but the health and material aspect is 5 star, then I'm totally fine with my purchase and having this for now, until I can invest in something really awesome.Ok....first off understand that people have very different reasons why they like a certain vape over another. And those reasons may not be because of actual vapor quality.
...
There is no BEST vape......only what works good for your situation and what you accept as "good vapor". It is different for most people and you need to see where you fit in with this aspect of vaping herbs.

As @C No Ego said -it is a safe vape to use. Most of those who commented against it, never tried it nor have read the thread to see all of the ways HR has made sure to keep the air path pure. So, my main concern is like healthy unadulterated vapor, for the sake of it being healthy. as @YaMon said most people don't share that concern to the same degree I do with materials and such.
