Anvil by Vestratto

Is anyone using Anvil with Tempest or Revolve stem? Is it a good combo?
Can anyone compare Anvil to Tempest?

I use my Anvil through a Revolve stem heaps, it's great. I use it with as much airflow and cooling as I get, and I get a really cool, conduction-heavy vape.

That's the difference between them for me - from the convection vs conduction perspective, I place them at almost opposite ends of the spectrum. I get better results from the Tempest with a slow heat up, seeking a lower temp, more flavourful hit. The Anvil is just a melt your face one-hitter with the normal bowl. (I only use the XL bowl when I'm using it through a bong.)

I much prefer the Anvil, but that's entirely down to vaping style and personal preference.

Lots of folks using the Wand. I quite like the combination tho probably not getting the most out of the Anvil, which you'd want the Forge for. But still gets the job done nicely, and a better on to go IH option.
So... could you answer this?

How long does it take to heat it and how many cycles can you do on one battery charge?

Sold my Tempest, because i love and use Most of the time my Anvil, Duracore.

Thinking about to buy a second Anvil with Thermocore. Or i wait for a Tornado with Stem.

What do you think guys.

I used to feel the same about buying another Anvil. But now I have the Tornado I wouldn't buy another Anvil. I'm 100% torcher and average a 0.05g load size using a water piece if that helps to know. Maybe as a stem user yourself this is less relevant info, all the best.

After years i treated myself to an xl cap for my anvil, it seems to me ITS very hard to achieve lighter roasts. Even If heated right in the middle the upper part of the caps weed is dark brown. Is it possible its much more conduction heavy compared to the normal Bowl? Does one have to stop heating before the click to get a lighter roast with the xl Bowl? Thanks for your Input.

You could try messing with your draw strength, and/or airflow settings if you have any. How tightly it's packed is another critical determining factor in the evenness of the roast. I do also feel like an overly aggressive heating can lead to an uneven roast, so a smaller flame might help.

I dont care about evenness so much, but i want that lower temp taste :)
I'll try shorter flame and looser packing. Thx.

The XL bowl has the least mass, so it requires less heat. I heat at the battery bank ring thing, Works for me.

I have seen folks say they put concentrates right in the bottom of the XL.

The 1/2 bowl takes the most heat, it weighs the most. Its the one I sacrificed to make it work with capsules.

Smalller flame, heat slower, or heat lower.

So does the Thermocore compared to the OG and Duracore ovens just give you more time to puff on the bowl because of the extra thermal mass, but it doesn't contribute to more extraction?

Does anyone have some good settings for the Anvil (Thermocore) with the Forge V2? I've only used it with my Tornado so far, but want to give the Anvil a go as well. It's mostly been sitting on the sidelines since the Tornado arrived tbh.

Last hit I did I used 3130J at 78% power. It was pretty good but I'm still testing and tweaking it. Might try bumping the power to 80% and reducing the joules a bit next time.

Edit: This is with the Anvil on the integrated stem set to the medium airflow setting by the way
