I wonder if something's off with my unit, then. I've been using the WPA for almost a week now, and have yet to hear a 2nd click.

I just tested, and after the 1st click, I waited almost 10 seconds with heat applied and still didn't hear the 2nd click.

I removed the heat and started inhaling, and got combustion. Time to clean.

Hope everyone had a good holiday!
I think I have the same issue as you. My cap seems to only want to click once. Occasionally twice by I can’t seem to get it consistent. I’m very familiar with dynas and Vapman but can’t seem to get consistency with the Anvil.

I do low and slow on the dyna cap and get it chocolate brown but my anvil is consistently lighter. Any advice?

I've been playing with the newly received Anvil a little bit... It's actually way better than I imagined. It's not harsh for me with the stock mouthpiece, spiral filter removed. Getting great flavor, huge dense clouds, and thorough extraction/effects. It did take me a day to figure out I should be gently popping the XL tube cap off of the Anvil rather than trying to pull the Anvil out. Put a few scrathes on that beautiful thermocore oven, bowl, and the tube cap . Really looking forward to the Forge now. Hope everyone waiting for their orders gets to experience this soon because it's amazing.

Want to know what you all would do if you were me as I have not experienced this before.

I ordered the WPA Kit on 4/22 (2 weeks ago) and have since sent two emails to them asking when they might know my order will ship. I haven't heard back and I am about to contact my credit card company because I sure as hell paid $175 plus tax without a single word from Vestratto. I've purchased a lot in my life and I've never had to wait weeks for even a shipment notification. This is outrageous.
I've ordered from them back in March and my order shipped in a few days and arrived internationally within 1 week of shipping.

I've also reordered the Tornado/Forge combo. John is likely swamped with both 4/20 Anvil orders and Tornado/Forge pre-orders.

I know waiting sucks and and the lack of responsiveness is a bad look, but it's worth being patient on this. The Anvil is my favourite vape now over even my T360, Terp Hammer, Venty and TM2.

Remember they're hand-machining the parts too.

hello) I think it’s very difficult to adjust the air flow, there are only two options or am I doing something wrong, but the air flow seems very open, an anvil 👍🔥

I apologize, I’m writing in the wrong topic, how are things going with bringing a clean anvil with you on the plane or taking Dynavap with you on a trip? in particular China Air, through China about Vietnam?

I would not cross a border in Asia with anything but an unused Anvil, broken down with parts in different parts of your luggage so that it is not clear what they are for.

FYI, my Anvil now regularly gives me two clicks, so I think it might "break in" after a while. Using a Blazer Firefox Mini torch.

Can't wait for your review
Short version. Big but well built. Plastic feels very sturdy. Battery super simple to mount and dismount. Can’t really put it in wrongly. Buttons big and satisfying. Full control over the power. Even has a speaker. It basically performs just like my torch but just extremely faster. Like 10-15 secs ish. Blink of an eye. I like this thing already. Case is cool. Handle on it too. My stash fits the hole cutout. Just need more free time and more weed now 😂✌️

Hey guys
To everyone receiving their forges, i should have a link soon with the instruction manual but for now here are a few. I may be missing something so just ask away if there's any questions.

1. Turn on/off - 3 clicks
2. presets - click right or left button
3. to save presets - go into preset screen ( left or right button ) highlight desired preset and hold big button for 5 sec. this will allow you to change the joules, click big button again to change power and again to change manual/auto. Hold big button to save
4. to change joules/power - hold big button on main screen to edit values
5. debug mode - hold left and right button down to enter debug mode. this will show you battery voltage and coil resistance as well as how much joules/energy has been given (note when in this screen the unit is wide open and will not time out when done) press right or left button to see temps of the pcb boards and coil

The unit has an auto shut off feature and will shit off after a few minutes

recommended settings (depending on the herb and its RH)

standard chamber - 2100 - 2300 joules @ 100% for more convection hit (under 15 sec click) or 2200 -2400 joules @ 50% for more conduction hit (30 sec click allows the herb to get hotter before extraction)
xl chamber - 1700-1900 joules @ 100% or 1900 - 2100 joules @ 50%

Thank you so much for the info! I don't have my forge yet, but I am excited. Is there a recommended setting for the half bowl?

Oh and are there adjustments to be made for the OG & Duracore ovens vs the Thermocore?

They don’t include a instruction manual, well Vestratto is setting a new low in CS, how much did this thing cost. :2c:

edit: ok, QR code for the manual that’s better, I was misinformed from the posts. Still not very impressed for the money they charge.

Received mine today. The speed it gets the Thermocore with XL bowl to temp with 1900 Joule / 100% is insane . It really feel nice and solid. Very happy so far.

Thank you Whiff for the info.
And how does this Thermocore and XL bowl combo hit compare to torch or however else you were previously heating it?

My previous Anvil was a Duracore and Standard Bowl. I heated it with a strong torch or the VHB Induction heater (the one that plugged in) . It gave nice hits but heating it was long. The VHB did it in 25 sec , the YLL-IH did it in 1min 30 sec but was a pain to use (constantly resetting). Torch was about 20-30 sec depending on torch. Both VHB and YLL-IH needed some guess work cause the click did not match .

With the Thermocore and XL chamber . I have both tried 2000J / 70% and 1900J / 100% . 70% is about 15sec. 100% is under 10sec. Also with the thermocore , i feel like i can take my time and finish the XL bowl without lacking heat or needing a reheat. It does give bigger hits then the standard chamber but hard to judge when it getting me this high.

Right now for heating : Forge >> Torch >> VHB >>>>>>> YLL-IH

I'll need to use both more to know if there is a big difference between thermo and dura .

No problem! Unfortunately i don't ever use the half bow but i can give it a try. I do know the half bowl was more on the hotter side so im assuming a bit less joules. Let me get back to you I'm going to try a half bowl at 2000J

Edit* Ok so 2000J is a low temp hit with the half chamber. I tried 2200J and it was a medium light roast so i would go with around 2300-2400J with the half bowl i think (depending on the flower)
Oh and are there adjustments to be made for the OG & Duracore ovens vs the Thermocore?
There isn't much adjustment to be done from what I'm finding. You may have to turn the joules up a tiny bit but those settings should still work for the OG/DuraCore. The main difference is the extra mass allowing the Thermocore to couple better with the coil which in turn allows the forge to work a bit more efficiently.

Also to everyone who purchased a Tornado/forge bundle, The tornado is still being tested and stuff. Vestratto would like to know if you would like them to ship your Forges in advance. If so please email mumfordjohn7@gmail.com with your Order # and they will start working on shipping the Forges out.

I'm really enjoying my Anvil. I got the duracore version last year when I was still too inexperienced and couldn't appreciate it, but the thermocore is working great for me.

But I'm used to straw-loading most of my other regulars (DVs, TM2), so having to use a tiny scoop is a step backwards. What's the best way you've found to load it?

If you have a brilliant cut grinder, scoop it with bowl, place bowl on center magnet of the grinder ( makes it stable) top off with a pinch, tamp, vape
