Got my forge ordered. Big day. Happy 420!
Sexy
YES, tried it a few times. Heat the middle to second click. take hit. Its lighter and easier native.Does anyone know if the Anvil can do lower temp hits well?
Everything ive seen so far has been thick vapour, and one and done heat ups.
Is it possible to heat higher up on the cap(like a DynaVap), and get lower temps. And if so, how is the performance at this level?
Thanks.
Pete.
Same! I thought about how happy I am with my Duracores and I am going for it. My big purchase for the year. Since Vestratto said the Tornado is a Thermocore with a turbo charger I am just leapfrogging to the best possible offering. I will likely seek out a used Thermocore down the line to play around with too. Excited to try the Forge with my Duracores and maybe it will make my Dynavap and Dani Fusion experiences better.Just put about $445 of faith in forge and tornado. Vestratto hasn’t failed me yet.
They aren't the quickest, and they are probably busy after 420 as well. Usually it gets out in 3-4 business days, but 4/20 may slow that down.Has anyone had shipping issues with Vestratto before? I ordered the WPA kit on Monday and it still hasn’t shipped but my money was taken…
That feels like it describes Vestratto perfectly to me. And they dropped a lot of stuff for 4/20. New, restocks AND packages. I can see that taking more time than normal to navigate for manufacturers. They aren't the quickest, and they are probably busy after 420 as well. You can also email info@vestratto.com to inquire about it.
And if it is used in a ground glass joint, the mouthpiece will no longer be polished. Guess how I know this.NO one has said it yet,
XL mouth piece fits 14mm and 10 mm tapers great. No o ring needed.

Not in my experience. Not enough power in the Wand to do a great job. It works, barely, for me.Has anyone tried the wand induction heater with the thermo core and xl bowl? Does it work satisfactorily?

Works great for me. I set it at maximum heat (=time) and either I start cold with the bowl screwed in and heat the full cycle, or I pre-heat without bowl for one cycle, then drop in the bowl and heat until click. With the thermocore, the latter technique will give you the more terpy, convection-leaning hit.Not in my experience. Not enough power in the Wand to do a great job. It works, barely, for me.
I will try this method. Just got the Anvil a few days ago, so maybe I can get the Wand to do better with practice.Works great for me. I place the wand right side up so that the anvil can rest on a non-flammable surface. I just let it sit there until timer or until click
It took me a while to figure out. With the thermocore I make use of its ability to store lots of energyI will try this method. Just got the Anvil a few days ago, so maybe I can get the Wand to do better with practice.
