I thought that's all we were talking about, colors for the heat shield, everything else has been plain metal? We've seen black and brushed metal for the heat shield so far... @Whiff Yeah I would really love blue and purple like the aquamarine, sapphire, and amethyst BCG anodized aluminum colors

Are the recent round of orders shipping with any cleaning/maintenance advice, or is it available somewhere? Thanks
Im not sure if any maintenance tips are included but the anvil is very easy to clean. The Anvil consists of 5 pieces ( Herb chamber, copper core heating oven, condenser plunger, airflow mechanism and the body) all of which can be soaked in isopropyl when needed. The o-rings are made of Viton and safe to be soaked in iso.
I like using a little tube/pipe cleaning brush to clean out the condenser quicker, you can also use the travel tube to soak the anvil but i would recommend doing that only on a regular basis and not if your going to let it get really gunked up. If its gunked up i would recommend taking it apart and let it soak
Edit: Vestratto is working on getting some things together and online before units arrive to their new homes!

From the start we had a gentleman's agreement with John (Vestratto) and that was PlanetHaze would get first sales for an amount of time as our compensation for our part in conceiving and the 3 years spent helping to design the Anvil. There is a lot more to it than that and maybe one day we will post everything. Vestratto let us put up the pre-order listing letting us take the brunt of customer inquires and leading us to believe our agreement was still valid since we had nothing in writing.
Since helping to launch the Anvil right here on FC, we could see what John was up to after we were being warned. We trusted John more than the warnings so we continued to post info provided by Vestratto. Guess we got duped really good. We only ever posted what we knew as fact or what Vestratto informed us.
Letting us carry on under the belief that we would be first to have stock by using omission and then without notice to us, John just went behind our backs and sold them direct totally cutting us out of the picture. Pretty low blow after working together for 3 years. We will take the high road and won't stoop to that level so you can put the popcorn away lol.
Our apologies to all our supporters who stood-up for us here and signed up on our website expecting us to have first stock. The knife wound in our back from Vestratto still hurts.

I understand where you're coming from. It's super shady that you didn't have more details but is it possible that you were meant to be the first retailer with stock? now I'm glad I didn't get in on the pre order. I'd only grab one now if Vestratto makes this right with planet haze, I've got plenty of vapes to keep me happy and I'm not in need of the perfect vape to keep me vaping lol pretty happy with what I got so I'll wait and see how this plays out.

When my friend sent me the link, and I saw it was an obviously newly created Vestratto website and not Planet Haze, I was confused. That's why I said I had an off feeling about it this morning. I think I understood last night what it all meant, but was too quick to buy one before processing it all. Seems my instincts were just confirmed
Sucks that happened if you truly thought you would have first release rights. Do you still plan to carry a later drop of Anvils, or do you have other plans now? I know I would buy future accessories from you if you decide to still carry.

No, there was no mis-understanding, although once Vestratto posts their side, they will of course claim there was no agreement, really what else can they say to save face? Just common sense, who spends 3+ years helping to build a product and not have some kind of agreement to get a slice of the pie? Vestratto wasn't even a company back then. Our mistake was trusting John that we were all (PlanetHaze, @Whiff and John) in it together, not equally together, but together as a good team and not have any signed agreements due to having trust in your team members.
Think we posted more about just the Anvil than all our public postings over the entire year.

We don't want to discourage anyone from getting an Anvil, even though Vestratto knows full well what he did. We still stand behind it and much of it's performance we played a big part of. @Hagbard we are big believers in Karma, it is even in the tagline in the footer of all our websites. Still, we don't wish harm on anyone and we prefer Good Karma, not bad.Glad to hear you got an Anvil and at the introductory price even if it wasn't from us. To anyone waiting to buy an Anvil from us to support what has happened, we truly appreciate it very much and will be personally responding to all those who reached out to us on our website.
We are not sure how we could see a way working with Vestratto going forward, so at this time we won't be selling the Anvil or any of its accessories. Those of you here since the start of FC like us, know that being honest and truthful means more to us than margins.

I don't know... this is likely an unpopular opinion since people seem to be calling for Vestratto John to respond here, but I kind of feel like all this dirty laundry shouldn't be aired in this thread. Wouldn't it be better for PH and Vestratto John to hash out their differences directly with each other instead of posting in public and asking us to take sides?
