Greetings, I have not visited this thread in awhile...hello Gary! I was wondering if any new designs are in the works for the Legacy Pro now that the Anso got released...

Greetings, I have 4 very used ALP PRO and this was my main vape for quite a while...the reason that it slowly fell out of my rotation as much was the ability or lack of ability, I had to clean it. I just cannot do it. My hands will not allow me to really clean it the way it deserves...It's that little space I believe all of you know what I am speaking of. Anyway, the flavor is unsurpassed. I began to use my Vapman's more because of its simplicity...but, I truly want to have the ALP because it is perfect for on the go for me.

I believe that the ALP team is very innovative and really listens to the people. Their design changes always improve our experience, and it is so appreciated. Gary thank you for being such an important liaison and always addressing our inquiries. Your customer service is ACE!

I am really looking forward in getting the new ALP and enjoying it to the fullest.

I recently got my avlp out after not using it for years maybe. And I actually really like it a lot better than I did when I first got it. The thing that I dislike the most about it and prevents me from using it more often is how much of a pain it is to clean after every single use. Hopefully the new one can solve this problem.

Also I find it funny how at the lower temps I can still get the avb to get dark brown, just as dark as it gets when I got it at 405 or higher. Makes me wonder how accurate these temps really are, which I usually don't use anyway.

But what is that little space you talking about that needs cleaning?

The space I am speaking of is that space under the little grid to the right of the bowl...when you take the mouthpiece out and the glass tube...the little holes to clean in those spaces makes me paranoid that it's never clean because I cannot see it. Every time I stick a swab in there the cotton falls off in there and becomes just one big pain in the butt. The area is too small to clean, and I wish it was more visible. I do not mind the mess up top. Never bothered me...its the 'space' I cannot stand...too many pieces...keep it simple like the Firefly...that was an unbelievable design. SIMPLE. Gosh, I love that design.

When I first saw the ALP I was in love with it because it reminded me of the Firefly...but, only difference is the cleaning...which apparently will improve this new round. I am excited to see it.

There must be a universe in which the AVLP (removable batt, qi charging, performance) and FF (simplicity, easy to clean, glowing bowl) have been mashed up into a super-cool and functional device

I can't even imagine what using avlp w/out capsules is like until I remembered the fist time I tried it with loose herb did 2 bowls put it down and ordered the caps, Now I 86 the ridiculous intake screen and gasket never to be cleaned again,:clap: bowl adjuster disc to what a pain to clear those tiny holes. 86'd never to be cleaned again:clap:,
I ISO wipe every few bowls, and deep clean when the glass tube gunks up, I use a avlp cap lid as a bowl lid on the FF2+ also, keeps the bits in the bowl and out the mouth piece and vape path.

Let me start by saying I had the original Legacy, pre-order and pre-ordered the Legacy Pro as well. The Legacy is pretty much my favorite vape. I'm really looking forward to the cleaning upgrade, BUT I don't really see the major problem with it. Sure pulling out the screen next to the bowl is difficult but how ofter do you really need to that? I basically just use a cleaning brush from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OV32AA?ie=UTF8&th=1) after I empty it and it pretty much looks like new. And maybe once a week put some ISO on a qtip to clean the screen from the top without opening it. I've gone months without cleaning under the screens and without removing the airpath. Once the airpath is gunked up, it does change flavor, but not really the airflow. I just don't get the need to try to keep all this stuff clean all the time.

But anyway, a new display will be nice. I have 2 ALPs, and the display died on my one that I got with the first batch (Airvape hooked me up there no complaints), but glad the have improved it anyway. Hopefully it will be brighter in the daytime, my only real complaint, but that's also my complaint with just about every other other vape with a display.

Mouthpiece? The current one seems nice. The original feel out too easily but after the first shipment they correted that, so I'm curiuos what changes we'll see here. The only other vape I use nearly as much as the ALP is the Venty, but its being RMA'd for an E04 which just started again, and even the Venty doesn't provide as smooth of a session as the ALP.
