AirVape Legacy Pro

This might be due to the temp getting high enough in the bowl after 7min to partially vape some resin somewhere in the vape that may have been missed during cleaning.
This is an unexpected high pothesis. The area under the airpath filter screen and below the airpath glass pipe, could be called a resin recirculator or capture device. It is like the appendix in the digestive tract, there is the main flowpath and then a small area for material to collect.

The way it works is resin makes it's way there during use. Also, it condenses onto the glass pipe. When the air is hot, some of this condensed resin vaporizes, either on the glass airpipe or in the resin recirculator.

Indeed!
i don't use my 2 avlps much anymore since i got my vb1.5 box ball vape . then angus enhanced and then 5 month later the rogue2. now i'm using the vb1.5 again after receiving Vaporbrothers 11 inch all glass Steamer mouthpiece, a steamroller. i still love my avlps
The Solo 3 and then Angus Enhanced made me abandon mine. 'Twas a great vape for me for 2 years.

in my legacy pro airvape the path between the chamber and the air intake got clogged... that part can't even be dismantled, I haven't been able to use it for a while... it abandoned me after a year of service
it's a shame because it was very powerful (if you wanted in 3/4 shots you could finish the chamber) and the flavor was also very good

i bet i could fix it or make it stay the same. drastic measures it might need. if it doesn't work why not experiment. the vent holes in bowl are blocked if you blow air in to the nose intake screen?

😂 Sorry, it just really sounded like you were channeling Yoda here.

Yeah I'm sure it could be resurrected. The AVLP has to be cleaned regularly to prevent things like this. It's never happened to me and it's a great vape if you take care of it.

in support I don't think I can send it since I opened it and I really tried everything

I treated my poor alp very badly now that I'm thinking of buying a tm2 or something I won't repeat this mistake

This is an unexpected conjecture.

When the air is hot, some of this condensed resin vaporizes, either from the glass airpipe or in the recirculator.

If I go long enough without deep cleaning, I will get it to clog, and a hard pull usually gets it to release. I am not sure where the clog is, but probably either the glass path is blocked by resin, or the appendix is full enough to block airflow to the glass path. I do need to debug this, by selectively removing the glass path or not to isolate the location.

Still using mine in a regular basis, because it's shining with the capsules for concerts or a small puff (and turning it off again). And its not as obvious as my other vapes.
But with the first batch of homegrown available and a wider variety of vapes in rotation, the cleaning efforts shrunk - for a one and only daily it would be too much of a pain.

I used my 1st one hard daily, loved it so much I bought the black one for stealth and a back up steampunk, the dynas have taken over the daily for the most part but the avlp is the best pocket-able easy and stealthy reload for park's/venue or skiing/onewheeling, family gatherings.
bonus; the caps work in TM2 and Neo. load tool works great for FF2+ or other bowls of similar size.

airvape legacy pro will always hold a fond place in my heart. Gary@airvapeusa.com has always treated me and many others fairly and with generosity. the herb vaporizer market is changing very quickly and i hope airvape and it's people will continue to make quality vape products and stay cutting edge.
i hope they come out with a concentrate devoted vaporizer soon and looking forward to legacy pro 2.

What are you using? I'm looking to grab a Terpsicle to compliment this; it looks fun.

By stealthy, what do you mean? I've used this like ~30-45 minutes before seeing my dad, and he talks about how much I reek of weed. I know it doesn't have a large physical footprint, but it doesn't dissipate super short-term.

What's everyone's using for a grinder with their AVLP? I'm looking at a Brilliant Cut with a medium plate and I'm curious how people like them with this.

Happy New Year. I check in here about once a month. With full respect to experiences reported by other users,
I feel gratitude and some awe for my own good fortune. After nearly two years of weekly use with only modest cleaning (I am a zealot for capsules in every device I have ever owned), my AVLP has held up beautifully. Nothing has broken. The difference in experience between any two or three users is truly amazing. I'm probably missing out on all kinds of fab technological advances, bc the AVLP killed my VAS dead. If I'm honest, I had never before paid that much for a device and could never justify (financially) buying another device for $350+ anytime soon. Even so, I haven't even felt the urge to see what's new out there unless it's the AVLP 2.0.

Interestingly enough (if only to me), I had a DynaVape that I couldn't give away fast enough. The person who received my DynaVape loves it absolutely. He and I have very different styles and preferences. I have heard of ball vapes, but stealth, portability and capsules remain priorities - I'll have to see what's what. Happy vaping anyways.

I agree, I do still love my avlp especially with the caps. My main device is the tempest with the wand, but if I'm going for stealth and portability avlp all day. I especially love it on Long road trips or when im on my mowing route. With a few capsules and extra batteries it's perfect. My toyota tacoma even has a wireless charger. It's like my taco and avlp were made for each other.

I got the unit as soon as it released and the AVLP is still my daily driver. I exclusively use the capsules for ease of cleaning. I liked it so much, it not only killed my VAS, but it made me lose interest in reviewing other vapes. I haven't reviewed a vape on my website in over two years because of it. Although, if I get my hands on the AVLP 2.0 then that will revive my website from the grave because I will feel obligated to write an article on it after liking the AVLP so much.
