yes but, AirVape is still 1 word. also that's an older logo. the new one present on the ALP packaging is "airvape" (no capital letters).
regardless, airvape legacy pro = 3 words = ALP

edit: @kapows i'm just telling it like i see it, same as you, with presumably the same level of seriousness :)).
but i agree AVL/P sounds/looks better than AL/P, i'm sure we're allowed to use both ;)

well look

it aint that serious

dont forget they have an airvape legacy too, which sounds much better shortened as AVL rather than 'AL' [imo]

AVL
AVLP

AL
ALP

i think airvape could really put themselves on the map. theyre so damn close. the products have that cool wow and top of the line luxe factor.

if they could get the best/coolest bits of the xlux roffu, tinymight and avlpro and combine them and package it similar to the avlp with a few tweaks, that, people, would be total excellence.

like for example, when i take a hit of the avlp2, i want to be able to see a small screen as i look down on it, with a counter thats timing my puff.

the roffu has a puff counter, i mean its not necessary but its jus cool!

and lets not design a mouthpiece which then requires specific and specialised wpa n bubbler.

at the moment, i cant think of an easier load and use , than the following combination

TM + Octotaster Stem (The cheap ones are great) (yes its a tight fit in n out but the thing is it can be done with minimal effort in the dark)

the cool thing about the octotaster is that it has a non adjusting glass screen built in. which means i can control the load without the screen moving, no messing about with lots of screens n o rings, and it prevents material entering the mouth.

i can load and unload in the dark in the blind! and i miss this alot its such a huge thing for poor eye sighted poor hand coordinated people! and its why i love my tm as well as my avlp

Now imagine a digital avlp2, with a luxe design similar to the avlp but with an option of having one with the heft of a roffu and its premium outer material like a leather metal mix

and an all glass octotaster which slots in super easy, (unlike the tm with its tightness) once in, the avlp2 does some magic and keeps it in place. nice large bowl with amazing even heating and the octotaster has a built in glass screen and theyre cheap to pick up.

not only that, but it gives me control of either hiding the mouthpiece totally inside the unit, with a smell proof slot that automatically covers it off, or it allows me to control maybe how high (no pun) i want the mp to pop out. so i can change depending on use (bubbler, portable etc) + can use any mouthtip on the octotaster if want to.

it has top of the line heating tech (see tm2 or tetra or i think halogen angus) with some cool options like zirconia cooling etc

it allows me to open the door like avlp so i can give it a clean that way (with the tm, its all top down, with a door, it would be front facing too) and having this option would also allow battery compartment access.

has a puff counter, colour changing oled gorilla glass screen, timer to see inhale plus usual avlp refinements like movement sensor auto shut off, session timer, session auto shut off, etc and maybe even a sensor that senses the grind and gives (if option switched on in settings) to suggest optimal heating temp.

all in a clean looking, luxe product. the avl and avlp are awesome in their design, maybe a squarer ish option but yea a luxe avlp2 in cherry wood and leather or wood+metal, or a leather + metal or metal on metal!

i like having buttons, as it helps to make adjustments without looking. would like with the option to have led on or off. the quality of them have to be excellent. the metal type feel awesome. avlps feel great.

the 3 clicks, i think is a good safety feature.

I like the bowl size and herb spread of the avlp which is a bit diff to how it packs in an octotaster.

the digital temp is so awesome on avlp. love how it rotates and climbs upto desired temp.

now if it gave me the option of haptic feedback, say for example i wanted to go from 160c to 170c and i wanted to do it button only without looking at the screen, and it gave me vibration when i reached 170 or 180 or 140 or 130 etc then yeah another great feature

better yet, automate it. give me an option like 'auto suggest 2x temp or 3x temp step' and then let it automatically temp step for me either one additional, for example, i load the herb and because ive already set in my options i want max terps, it auto suggest i start off at, say, 155c then after that hit, it will auto temp step 1x to 165c or 2x from 165 to 170

clean airpath, easy load unload, multi stem capability, top of the range materials plus leds and option to keep em on or off or an led free version (i like lights so want my avlp2 to light up and have mood lighting)! automation and all the good stuff?

id splash £££ on that top end luxe cherrywood and leather all bells and whistles offering. take my money.
@Gary-Airvape i was in the clouds :))))

Funny, that i never use session mode with the tinymight. When i did, the vape felt a bit warm. Hits the same like on demand. Maybe i should try again session mode on a lower temp.
I received my legacy pro on tuesday and could try a few bowls already. Good Hits in session mode. But almost no good hit in on demand mode. Just when i press fire for a really long time.

I ordered the normal pro last week in germany and also pulled the tricker for the steampunk, (could not resist) ordered in USA with the earlybird discount (now not working anymore).

And so far i really like the vape. Still happy that i also ordered the steampunk, which still has to arrive....

Funny davesmith is telling the same

That's my experience too. Not that on-demand mode is bad but I just find the extra conduction from a session mode makes the overall experience better. It's also nice not to have to hold down any buttons.

I like filling the bowl with little hand-torn nuggs, no packing. I start at 363F then step to 383F and either end there or sometimes flirt with 400F to completely cash a bowl.

Aw damn I bought it primarily for on demand mode I must have missed the part in this thread where on demand was discussed lol 🤦🏽‍♂️.
Still looking forward too it but thanks for the info I’ll reset my expectations.

Also forgot I owned the Anvil for awhile so technically I lied about this being my first portable in awhile

IMO the ALP works splendidly in ondemand as well. max temp, basically used like a unregulated device. the heating is more convection biased (with all the benefits) compared to session mode.

Anyone had an issue with air leaking through the door.

I noticed my device felt kinda loose on the draw and it was sounding louder. I had a look and the door has a little gap down the oven end. so i squeezed the door closed and it solved the issue.

I now need to do this for the device to be usable.

Everything inside seems as normal.
