AirVape Legacy Pro

I use a GUM Proxabrush to clean the inside corners. It's an interdental brush and are basically an use until too dirty to clean then toss.
I've been wrapping a stiff braided wire in torn strips of alcohol wipes and pushing it through and twisting. Seems to do the job.

Still reaching for my ALP a lot these days. Very happy with the taste and vapor production. Great vape.

Today i wanted to do the fitst real deep clean of the alp unit. So i wanted to clean the channel between oval screen next to the bowle and the glastube. I dripped some ISO on a qtip and inserted it from the side where the glastube sits. But i lost the cotton of the qtip inside. Then i wanted to remove that silicone seeling where the glastube normal sits. But i could not get it out and damaged it with the tweezer. I think its somehow still working now. But longterm i need to replace it. Havent seen it as a part to buy yet. Somebody know, if its available?
I was able to get the cotton out from the side where the oval screen sits. With a very thin tweezer.
But this small channel is so stupid to clean. And there must be a lot of reclaim in some certain spots, that you wont reach easy. Especially if its not possible to remove that silicone sealing ring, that i damaged.
So whats ur peeps suggestion how to clean that channel? Or how to get thst sealing ring out?
After 3 weeks of usage i can sayI really like that vape. Just that fiddeling cleaning is a bit of a pain.
Havent used my steampunk yet. But gave it a good clean today...airpath tastes nice and clean...
yea the cleaning on this vape reminds me of the pax, its apain to clean, i did the same thing with a qtip and iso but luckily mines didn't get stuck. Wish there was consideration for the cleaning when designing this one

Ah stupid me, that i tried to get out that sealing ring.
Thanks for the ideas for cleaning. dental brush is a good tip. Maybe also the brush its coming with could work!? That one you can clean afterwards with iso again.
I am using that brush to clean the screens after each using(at least when its close) . Its easy to clean the brush itself with ISO.. also here the dental brush could do a good Job!
I hope i can live with my broken sealing ring...

if you use a cotton bud, they need to be skinny and tightly wound on a short stick (i break mine in half) but i use gum brush wide long ones to get deep inside and around those corners.
i use cotton bud for only the tube's silicone gasket only, with iso and gum brush with iso for the rest of the holes.
never try to remove silicone gasket, bad-bad ruin no replacement available

Just ordered AVLP. Are there any accessories that are recommended and a place to purchase them?

Hey guys,
I received my Airvape Legacy Pro today and excited to use it later!

I had a few questions beforehand:
  • Does anyone know if this charger is compatible? https://www.amazon.co.uk/ask/questions/Tx109N26KDODJA7
    It states: Universal Voltage: 100-240vac, 50/60Hz, 7W.
  • Could someone also show a picture of the newer mouthpieces that we are (potentially) entitled to? I'm not sure which one came with mine!
  • Dosing caps: I've read about all the issues - still worth to buy one (UK)? Cleaning sounds like it could be tedious but I'll get a better idea later tonight!

Sorry for all the questions, and hope someone can help!
Many thanks!

I'm not sure about all your questions but for the mouthpiece as someone suggested hold the vape by the mouthpiece over something soft like a pillow or your mattress. If it holds together you have the new one.

Can answer all of your questions, but I am pretty sure that is not the correct charger or batteries. The AVLP take an 18650 battery and I believe you will need a charger like these if you do not want to charge internally.

I had my first session with the AVLP last night. I was really surprised how quickly it heat up (on-demand) and how good the vapor tasted! Very impressed. I also wasn't sure on temps so ended up doing 420F, something in the middle of what I've seen recommended online. Managed to get 3 very smooth hits and almost sure I can squeeze out a good few more from the same load! The thing that stood out the most was how cool the vapor was, haven't experienced that before!

I can see the complaints about loading and clean-up however. Loading the chamber is a bit icky and I made a mess pinching flower into it (I was able to easily pour stuff into my old vape, MFLB, from the palm of my hand for example). I haven't attempted clean-up yet but it definitely seems like it could get annoying unfortunately. I think I will need to buy some of those S&B brushes that have been recommended in here.

I am now thinking about getting a 15mm screen to help with the clean up to make things a bit easier as it seems difficult and quite expensive getting the dosing capsules in the UK .

I am STILL very confused on how the screens work however as I've never even heard of them before! Am I correct in thinking that these basically go directly over the loading chamber to prevent any flower from falling out and spreading around? I've asked someone else the same question but still left confused. I photoshopped a pic below in the hopes that someone can confirm! I can't help but feel the screen would still slide around like this though.

If anyone has any other tips for a complete beginnner/casual it would be much appreciated! I only ever plan to use this thing in on-demand mode fwiw :)

Thanks guys

step 1: pour the herbs into the oven from a container or with a makeshift paper guide. keeps mess to a minimum.

step 2: don't overfill, don't pack tight. convection biased heater works best with a fluffy load.

step 3: domed screen and slightly diminished load ensures even extraction, no stirring required.

cool. it's better using 15mm flat stainless steel screen, may i add, remove the little oval screen near oven and unscrew micro disc to half way. the clouds will be much larger. and to you get a abv puck after vaping, you pat the back of unit, lightly. open in upside down position, -puck city lol

Hello folks !
I was wondering… some doors wooble, (might be related to overloading the bowl ?), some of us wan't to keep that device neat and flawless (i'm one of those ^^)… @Duba doesn't seem to own one or to go for a "leather jacket" for our beloved Airvape Legacy pro (just kidding here, but as he makes wonderfull sleeves for TM/TM2,and so many other vapes, this tag might do the trick for him to have a look here :) )

… Sooooo all in all, and because that might be formulated in this topic, how 'bout a silicone glove for Airvape Legacy pro @Gary-Airvape ?
I guess the global appearance of the outside of the vape would "change" and i like mine as is, but if the silicone glove fits tight around it (That sentence is not meant to be taken out of this context please ! ^^), no more messing with woobling doors, less smell when carried in the pocket, more protection of the device… ?

what do you think, vapers ?

The Pax 2 and 3?.... those are the easiest vapes in the world to clean. I have no experience w/ the OG Pax so maybe that's the one you're referring to...

I'm glad to hear that the AVLP's air path is completely cleanable, including the odd nooks and crannies, when using the right kind of brushes. That was my only concern that was keeping me on the fence about owning this device.
