it's a long time ago since my last post, but I'm back in town!
I had the pleasure to go in Barcelona for the Spannabis and to meet some great great guys there!
How happy I was to share some times with my brother @Ed's TnT , after years of writing!
It was amazing.
But a big thank you too to all the wonderful guys I met in real life there: @phattpiggie , @duff , @Padriano , @funkyjunky , I'm so glad and proud to know you all. It was a blast!
A big up too to the @VapCap crew !
Now back to the wood shop!
Here's two tubes boxes ready to go I have done for the vapcapers!
The first one is in amboyna burl and Philipine Ebony.
It can welcome a 125mm length stem with a diameter max of 14mm.
My @phattpiggie stem can fit in this tube.
The lid is in ebony too, and there's a magnet on the other side.
The second one is in two tone ebony with a red narra lid:
It's made to fit a xl VC in (109 mm max length and a ID of 11mm) and a magnet on the bottom.

Brother it was a great time had. I know we mentioned it from time to time ow neat it would be to do that and never thought it would have happened this soon. So enjoyed the time we shared and am already looking forward to doing it again sometime. I am thankful to know you and grateful to have met you, much love my man!

It could be a VC stem, with a removable glass tube for the air path...
Or it could be a VC pipe (perfect to use with a induction heater)
There's a small stainless steel ring on the top of the stem and of the pipe to fit the vc tip easily.
And you can follow me now on IG , under the "aezhennwood" name!

This one is made from a piece of red narra roots, with a piece of acrylic and some turquoise inclusion...

long time ago I didn't post, time is passing too fast!
But here am I again
I was lucky to find two beautiful pieces of live edge red amboyna burl and they became two custom stands with an abv bowl in spalted beech!
It is a pleasure to play with those organic forms, and sometimes the wood appears like stone as the colours are very surprising with their nuances...
I worked on some tubo custom stems too, all of them with their glass tube, for pure flavour air path
And I have the pleasure to make a collab with Glass Charlie to make a custom storage tube for
@Padriano !
Acrylic, amboyna burl and those beautiful cabochons!
Like a palantir in Lord of the Rings !
I have to say it will store a fantastic stem made by @phattpiggie , so I was under pressure

I really like the art deco period and I think life is sweeter when art is around us.
In my small level, I try to keep this in mind in my shop. Create something useful in the daily life and nice to look at.

here come two other stems for Vapcap tip...
This one is in amboyna burl, with a spalted beech part.
As you maybe know, I turn capsule stems for @funkyjunky and he developped the use of these glass tubes for the wood stems. A big thanks to him!
I use the same system on my stems, and you will also find a stainless steel ring where you can fit the VC tip in.
@davesmith is doing the spiked tubes!
This one is also in amboyna burl, but a stabilized one and dyed in green! Look at the wood, it is almost like marble or jade!
And the central part is in red amboyna.
