7 days later I found the Tubo capsule stems and have ordered one of the acrylic hybrid stems, hopefully this stem will make me less wary of taking one of my splinters out of the house! Especially with the added functionality of being able to use the dosing caps! Thanks @Aezhenn !

Here's a stand I have made from a piece of amboyna burl, with epoxy resin poured in the voids with a mix of pigments and gold leaves...
Do you like it?

I really like how it plays with the daylight!

@Aezhenn have you ever experienced wood swelling on the vapcap containers? I have one Omni case where currently I can't seem to get the DV out. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Hmm @MAbud , wood can swell with the heat or humidity.
If your omni is a metal one, is it possible to use some small clamps to gently pull on it?

To use a lubricant like a drop of mineral oil should ease the process.

If you can not get your vc out by pulling on it, you can try to heat the tube a little and try to remove it while it's warm.

I hope it will help.

It is made from philippine ebony with chocolate color and acrylic resin

Like a full moon night with some light clouds ...

And a new stem is available for the Vapcap system!

In cocobolo with an acrylic touch
Available with a regular glass tube or a spiked one

LOL!!! Well, I wanted a small Vapcap stand to use when actively partaking in the sweet herb, not for stem storage. I think it will be perfect for a side table.

It's in the country and has passed customs so I'm hoping for it to arrive tomorrow or Tuesday!!!! Can't wait!

Here's a piece of Philippine ebony like I didn't score so often...

As you can see, it's a raw piece for now, but with a beautiful grain.
I already turned this abv bowl in Mahogany...

I would like to do a special stand with this one, as we could imagine wood or turquoise inlay, maybe a carved part with gold leaves...

It could be adapted for a vapcap display or a log accessories display (Woodscents or Underdog).
If you are interested by a such creation, just let me know by pm and I will create a special one for you

It is always good to have the choice to take the best stem for the day and change whenever you want

I have been working on some new VC stems in the shop, all with the removable glass tube (spikey or regular). Let's have a look...

This first one is in a beautiful piece of curly boxwood. To say the truth, it was the first time I scored such boxwood and I don't know when it will be possible to find some again...
It is really dense and shiny

Here's 4 more fancy ones...

From left to right:
Yellow amboyna burl with clear turquoise
Red amboyna burl, philippine ebony and turquoise inlay
Paldao and bloodwood, in a coke bottle style
Stabilized / dyed amboyna burl with turquoise ring for a touch of green...
