    AirVape Legacy Pro

that's great news! any chance we can get a discount for early adopters who already bought the old ones and gave valuable feedback on what to improve? thank you!

    The Lotus Vaporizer

i was under the impression the saucer was the latest iteration (correct me if i'm wrong). a bit surprised they are making the older one instead of the newer version.

& @mysiak IME this is the same way they run the vapman site ... "Shipping calculated at checkout, VAT excluded"

    AirVape Legacy Pro

sounds about ambient temp. you sure it's not in on-demand mode instead of session?

    AirVape Legacy Pro

i think it's more like a beast mode session, with automatic temp stepping, going up to the max temp meant for herbs. i'm sure the heater goes up to the same 464f in wax mode. p.s. both my units bottoms spinning

    Vapman

i really like the updated italian design because it's fully serviceable. everything can be unscrewed, replaced, cleaned etc, even on the mica version. kinda wish they sold all the parts separately.

    AirVape Legacy Pro

eh i tried flat screens before bending them, but the cooking was a bit uneven. with lighter AVB in a ring along the top edge of the oven, where naturally the temps can't be as high due to how it's built. the domed screen basically cuts that part out of the bowl and gives me completely even...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

step 1: pour the herbs into the oven from a container or with a makeshift paper guide. keeps mess to a minimum. step 2: don't overfill, don't pack tight. convection biased heater works best with a fluffy load. step 3: domed screen and slightly diminished load ensures even extraction, no...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

not yet and according to the rep here they already have a roadmap for the near future which doesn't include capsule rework. ATM they are heavily advertising the current caps, presumably trying to offload existing stock. i think there's no reason to expect a rework in the next 6 months to a year...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

clean/wash the entire airpath as well as possible, run some max temp burn-offs (session mode), let the device air for a couple of days. had the same experience with my regular AVLP and V3PRO, hot plastic aroma went away after a couple of bowls.

    Dynavap VapCap

but how? is there solder or anything to bind the inside cap to the outer armor, for better heat transfer? or is it like installing a CPU cooler without the paste?

    AirVape Legacy Pro

they actually improved it a little since. the door on my replacement unit (from the latest batch presumably) swings and closes tighter than my previous 2 units.

    Dynavap VapCap

sad to see what they choose to spend money/energy on, instead of more important stuff like QC/CS, and perhaps a better understanding of thermodynamics. coz pretty much everything they released since 2019 has convinced me their initial success was a happy accident and they really don't know how...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

IMO the ALP works splendidly in ondemand as well. max temp, basically used like a unregulated device. the heating is more convection biased (with all the benefits) compared to session mode.

    AirVape Legacy Pro

yes but, AirVape is still 1 word. also that's an older logo. the new one present on the ALP packaging is "airvape" (no capital letters). regardless, airvape legacy pro = 3 words = ALP edit: @kapows i'm just telling it like i see it, same as you, with presumably the same level of seriousness...
