That’s a blast from the past @NYC_Frank! I still use the same technique to this day. That was before the restricter discs were released. I still haven’t used one because my Bricks didn’t come with one and I didn’t see a need for the disc. However, I never have been satisfied with the performance...
I took advantage of the sale to get some extra batteries. I don’t really need them yet but it was nice to buy three and get one free. The io has been my daily driver since I received it and gets the most use, although I do use other vapes and cartridges. I barely even use my OG, when I had two...
I recently broke my beloved Vaporscope Hybrid by Lotus and it looks like it’s been discontinued. If anyone has one in good condition that they’d be willing to part with please let me know. I don’t need the wooden mouthpiece, just the glass. Thanks and happy vaping to all!
I dropped and broke my Vaporscope Hybrid. When I went to replace it I see it is no longer on the website, neither is the original Vaporscope. I really loved my Hybrid, are these being discontinued permanently or is it temporarily out of stock @Max Jitter?
I don’t know if residual vapor messes up the sensor but when using glass you can see that the io keeps producing vapor for a few seconds after you turn it off. That’s a pretty effective heater if you ask me. Using this knowledge to your benefit can help improve battery life, even while using the...
I wasn’t asked to return my charger when I traded in my OG for an io. I did anyway because I had never even used the original charger and didn’t need an extra, I have two hoppers and two chargers. In the first four years I was hopping I only used my Nitecore D2. After I got my Hopper io I...
My Hopper io manual shows a temperature range of 150-230° Celsius. The website shows two different temperature ranges, 130-230 and 180-230. From my experience using the io it seems to line up pretty well with the 150-230 listed in the manual. It would be nice if we could get official...
I would love to see the colored units made out of powder coated stainless steel. I don’t know if there would be material safety concerns with that type of finish and this application. I would think it would be more durable. It wouldn’t be suitable for the PFE but I think bare metal is best for...
All of the OGs I’ve had have never extracted my ABV past a dark brown. My io can make my ABV nearly black, almost as dark as a Dynavap can take my material without combusting. I rarely go above 4 with my io because I don’t like the flavor at 5 and 4 hits me hard enough. The funny thing is that...
The whistle is a distinct, high pitched tone that happens when you draw and your torch is in the sweet spot. Try centering your torch in the intake and then slightly changing the angle and distance. When you get close to the sweet spot you can hear a low whistle and the closer you get the louder...
When first getting the hang of Bricks I think it’s best to only change one variable at a time so you can see how each variable effects the experience.
It sounds like you need a strong flame on your torch. Make sure the carb is covered or corked and start drawing slowly at first until you...
I recently tested one of my new batteries. I used the “pen” frontend native and each hit lasted an average of 8-10 seconds. I got four hits from each chamber but the last hit was always a tiny “cleanup” hit. I could skip that in the future and squeeze in another chamber or two. I’ve listed the...
My batteries are now two years old and recently the performance has really started to suffer. I’m surprised they’ve held up this well, especially using them with the Hopper io and its more powerful heater. I have two batteries, one good one and one that’s decent. Lately the battery life has been...
@Chronicles22 it seems like your Hopper io might be running cold and in need of repair. The fact that your io takes considerably more draws to extract is the opposite of my experience, my io extracts just as fast or faster than my OG.
I have an OG Ti and a SS io. My SS io gets hotter and extracts faster than my Ti OG. The ABV from my Ti OG on temp 5 looks similar to the ABV my SS io produces at temp 4.
