I also purchased this exact rig, only mine doesn't have the foot/stand/base yours came with, it lays back on the mouthpiece and that keeps it propped up from spilling. I can say it is one of the most well made pieces I've found from DHgate for the price and mine also came with the dish/dabber...

you can use a J hook + reducer with a sanded down to fit heathstone (stone) in the reducer to diffuse the heat. I used a healthstone pipe and reducer... I just have to suspend the tension ring and screen inside the pipe... not sure if you can manage that with a J hook, but that's how mine works.
