...yeah that silicone in the lid isn't holding so I ended up just sandwiching magnets on both sides of the lid, now I can use either side to cool the cap, or hold it. Don't know why I didn't think of that first :doh:

trying this out... I put a dab of aquarium silicone in the lid of the case, and stuck a high powered magnet in there... so I have a place to pop the hot cap off, on the go. One of these days I might get the dugout, but right now this seems like a good quick fix. I'll see how useful it really...

I get good tasting but visible light vapor (rosin loaded in chamber) on my lowest (blue) setting, 2 or 3 rips then I feel I need to bump it higher. I do get excellent vapor on my high setting but it starts to taste scorched, so I only use this setting at the very end of a load to finish it off...
