Discontinued The Timber Elite by Vapwood

Okay, so the Timber through water is truly magical. I set TC to 385 and let it rip on my bubbler. Big clouds, total smoothness. Not a hint of harshness, and the flavor lasted so long. Even when I kicked it up to 395 for the last few hits, still totally smooth. The ABV looks extremely evenly...

Discontinued The Timber Elite by Vapwood

I can attest that $200 for one of these is an absolute steal. Even knowing these aren’t the final production versions, the vaping experience is highly refined. And $200 for a top tier artisanal and handcrafted vaporizer is an exceptional deal.

As promised, here are size comparison photos: The XL8R Jr in the last pic is slightly longer than the Mistvape wooden stem in the Timber, but I think it illustrates how the Timber looks in comparison. Between the two, the Timber feels better in the hand without a doubt. Easy to grip in...

Thanks! I plan to use it through water soon. I can’t compare to the Stempod but I will compare it to the Z.

Quick first impressions of the Timber Elite: -Damn this thing is beautiful. The Black and Tan design is sharp, and it feels so good in the hand, like it belongs there. -My main point of comparison is the Splinter Z. I assumed the heat up time would be about the same, but the heater in the...

    Dreamwood Glow

The Glow has kanthal coils out of the box, which may feel like they hit harder than the Splinter’s stainless steel mesh heater, but from my experience the Glow hits more like a Splinter than a Dynavap.

I’m surprised that people think the Nonavong looks better than the Hydravong. I love the gnarled look of the latter. It’s like Gandalf brought me his personal vaporizer. I can’t see spending over $100 on either of them though (I’m not interested in the shorty version without the mouthpiece).

How dry do you get your herb and how far in advance? Most vapers I know try to keep their herb fairly moist, using boveda packs and such.

Ah ha! That makes sense. I feel like you could potentially program the TC mode with a preheat as well with DNA chips. I’ll have to look more closely at it when mine arrives.

Thanks! I’m already anxious to try it. How is Booster mode different from standard wattage mode? I noticed Mike using a TE on Instagram in what looked like wattage mode but may have been booster mode as well. I’m surprised because a major advantage of the DNA chips is the exceptional temp control.

Well I couldn’t pass up that price, especially with the positive user report! Black and Tan Timber Elite barebones ordered. I will write back after I get some time to test it out.

    Dynavap VapCap

Based on that teaser I feel the same. Honestly the fat mouthpiece with the hole cut a bit larger has excellent airflow already, so this would have to be a whole other level for me to want it.

Why go with a conduction device?

That’s a great use case for an all conduction vape I never would have considered!

Temp controlled battery for CCell carts

Are people still liking the eleaf TC40W? Is the temp control at all accurate with vape carts? Would I be better off just getting an istick or something that does VV or VW?

What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

I’d kiie to know what “programmed for dry herb attys” actually means versus an off the shelf DNA mod. Also for the price I’d much prefer 21700 battery compatibility as I currently have a single 18650 DNA 75c mod that I use with my Splinter Z and the battery management is a pain.

    Timber 510

None of the dry herb attys I know of go anywhere near 75w, so why pay extra for a board with more power that you will never ever use? The battery is separate from the board and I do wish this had an option for 21700 batteries since it’s a single battery mod.

I find it works best for me when I load enough for one/one and a half hits. I also wipe the mouthpiece along with the bowl after each load.

    AVS m22

@Accept Have you tried the DT v4 Crucible? I realize the M22 is offering more total functionality but I feel like the v4 punches way above its weight and it would be most interesting to compare the two, especially given the difference in price between them.
