Vapor is the same in my experience and I've used strains that are 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 and 4/0.25 ratios of CBD to THC. The buds look like buds and are full of trichomes.

I always wait at least 60 minutes after vaping, and since I'm a micro-doser, driving impaired isn't usually an issue. However, I have some AC/DC strain that is 0.6% THC and 16% CBD that I use and it seems to clear my head and bring me down, if necessary. I highly, yuck yuck, recommend it.

I'm guessing the high quality in the first photo has 2, 3, or maybe 4 times as much THC. Just take one or two hits instead of a whole joint. Learn to microdose. You can always do more, but once done you can't do less.
