Nice, glad it arrived in time for the weekend. The new Dogs are running pretty hot these days, if you want to drop the temp more than the (included) extension cord does then a dimmer is a good way to go and is <$10. We've used these ones to good success...
I've done it, both using a PC power supply on it's own (not in a computer) and using one in a running PC.
I did find that some power supplies/computers were sensitive to the Log being plugged/unplugged and that it could cause some PS/computer glitches.
I had best results with and ended up...
Lots of new Dog owners out there.. welcome aboard everyone!
I'm finishing up some more pieces today so hopefully we'll refresh the website again this afternoon/evening since it's running low. Patience grasshoppers... :ninja:
Glad to hear you're enjoying the new Pup there ZC.. sounds...
Yeah we have the o-rings as an option now on the vape pages when you're adding them to your cart.. the option is for us to install one for you at no cost so hopefully people will take advantage of that.
RE: Ed's SS bushing - I haven't had a chance to use one, do you know what size it is? Guess...
Yes you've summed it up more or less perfectly. The only thing I'd really touch on would be that while the Air Core doesn't retain as much heat as the standard cores it's by such a small amount that most people can't tell the difference. There are certainly some users who can tell the difference...
Heya Dogs, since you guys are going thru the available vapes on the site so fast we're going to push another refresh thru later today or tomorrow.. just a heads up.
Also, a few people have asked so I'll answer here: if you're interested in the 'buy 2 get 1 free special' and have already ordered...
I'm happy to sit on a little 'inventory' of these things to make it easier on you guys. I don't really want to mark them up at all given that I can't warranty them. Seems like a convenient way to go for all of us.
Sorry about that poorhouse thing lol. Maybe it's time to start up a Dog commune...
Hah.. thanks man, we do what we can. We actually talked to the manufacturer of the battery packs to see if we could get them wholesale or something but no dice unless we buy like 1000 which is definitely not what I was after lol. Oh well, it's not too demanding to just keep a few on hand for...
I like the updates.. helps distract me from the fact I'm still working lol.
Yes many of the DIY VVPS modules do require a input voltage higher than your desired output but not all. Generally speaking ones that are listed as BUCK modules have that requirement whereas ones listed as...
They aren't super heavy duty and it's got a max output of 2A.
3 Dogs would probably need 1.8A to 2A at normal power levels.
So, maybe, briefly, before overheating and voyaging off to the great beyond. :\
1 screen displays current (amps) and the other displays voltage. Not sure if Underdogette has sent your package, best to shoot her a message directly.
Speaking of battery packs and VVPS..
We ordered a handful of battery packs (the ones discussed here every now and then) and will have them available (with or without Panasonic batteries) on the website as a 'courtesy item' soon. I say 'courtesy item' because we aren't making money on them and...
It sounds to me like the cord on your wall wart may be in the process of breaking near the plug. When you use the extension it reduces pressure on this location so could make an intermittent problem temporarily subside if that makes sense? Send Underdogette a message and she can help you with...
