If it's using the original stock PD wall-wart then it'll output (under a PD load) somewhere around 12.1v to 12.4v (typically) based on the input line voltage.
Also something to note is these original wall-warts were AC to AC (not AC to DC) voltage. 120v AC in to 12v AC out. As such they won't...
I like the one srama21 links below a little better due to the higher rated voltage/power range. Either would work though I'm sure.
As far as concentrates go I think both work about equally well so I don't really have a preference. I'd say a little experimentation is in order on your part.. on...
Thanks for the order! It should ship tomorrow..
RE: semi-gloss - unfortunately that's not an option as it's something we have to do when turning the wooden body, long before it gets assembled and put on the website. :|
RE: VVPS - I would recommend getting a cheap inline dimmer instead...
Cool of you to do your build step by step and post pictures.. thanks man.
I didn't think about it in time or I would have sent you a few things before you started like an 18ohm resistor (with no solder in the air path), a center tube screen, etc.
Looks like a standard core (compatible with all stem types), wild maple, Twig size.
RE: screens - I like basket side towards the core, that's how we install them and what we feel works best. :2c:
::edit:: Oh, and welcome to the Pack.
Congratulations on your escape my friend!
Hope you enjoy a quiet recliner weekend with the Pups! Careful with that Rx cocktail, that doesn't sound good at all. :worms:
:peace:
Doh! Well I'm glad you were there where they could take care of you then!
Make sure they give you all the best care (and drugs), no scrimping. If it seems like you bribing them would be helpful then feel free to tell them that I'll gift them a nice UD once you're all patched up.
It'll vary from vape to vape (because of heater variation, size/density, etc) but the range will be the same or similar to full size Dogs. If it's running cool on a standard wall-wart I'd try it on the VVPS and maybe start a 12.5v and adjust from there as needed. :2c:
Hah, not sure if...
I do believe it did.. I suspect Underdogette has it sitting on my workstation waiting for a checkup. I'll be taking a look in the next couple hours and we'll send you a message.
Morning everyone hope your week is going smoothly. We're working on some nice customs and still plugging away at the Minis as well so we've been busy. As always it's nice to see everyone enjoying their Underdogs and having a good time.
@Rick - Thanks for all kind words! Glad to hear you...
Whether you might want to wait depends on what kind of Dog you want. Usually the Holiday Special starts Dec 1st and is a lower priced line of homogeneous vapes much like the Vape Specials that are regularly on the website (but at a slightly lower cost). So basically if you want a plain-Jane...
I can't say for sure how well it would work but I can't imagine it would cause any kind of problem. I have heard from a few other Dog owners who put potpourri in their cups along with a little water to moisten it and they say that works well. :2c:
Sounds like it might be ok then, fingers crossed as well.
My personal favorite(s) these days are the Air Core (AC) with Nylon Stems or NonGs.
With the (free) o-ring installed the AC works great with the glass stems and GonGs too. We'll be phasing the Standard Core out soon (when inventory...
Absolutely, good thinking... we have a few potential options and that's one of them.
When are you moving to California to be our Director of Creative Rebuilds? :brow:
Sounds like you're off to a good start!
It's probably not as elegant as a dedicated portable but you can always use a Dog with a battery pack for on-the-go fun.:2c:
Ah, gotcha.. well we'll save the body if at all possible, it might be totally fine.
I'll have Underdogette message you with the return shipping info in just a second and we'll get things rolling. We can definitely send it back with anything else you need including a new Dog.
