I'm getting okay returns with flower. The pressed stuff is still good, grind it up and it still gives clouds. After a few hits I dumped it out to break it up a little more and it felt oily, as if it were damn but sticky, still cloudy and doesn't taste like ABV. I'm not getting 15-20% returns...

Probably, just need heat and pressure. I tried with an iron today with a different strain. I got a dab out of it! Pretty tasty though not quite like the flower. But damn did it melt away completely!

If you rotate the stem it should reduce the draw somewhat. Maybe a slightly tighter pack or a more relaxed inhale?

some 1/2 inch screens aren't exactly 1/2 inch and they kinda float around inside, others are a little bit bigger than 1/2 inch and will fit flat inside with a little pressure and pressing. 5/8 inch screens will fit inside in a little dome shape. keeping the screen off of the four holes instead...

Yeah a little bit of oil inhaled all at once will get you good, the same amount over 10 minutes or multiple hits is a little different. Do you have another type of setup to try? Nail, other vape?

I also read PTFE pads work as well and are resistant to heat at that temperature? I think my problem was not enough material and it melted into the parchment like I said. If this ends up being an easy tek with prime flowers/hash/partial melts it would be incredibly convenient. No need to sift...
