If you want clouds the regular screen would be better as it can hold more material. With the shorty you may find yourself loading it twice to get where you want to be due to a smaller size. The regular stem means you have more "vapor potential" plus more flavor if you're into slow-sippin' it.

Those are for the V-Tower/Extreme Q. Planet Vape has a new "Vortex Stem" that was reviewed last page or two. There are a few other stem makers in the Accessories, Ed's TnT and under Glass JoDa. Maybe pick up a water adapter for glass use? Ed's stems are wood and metal, don't break from dropping...

I haven't ISO cleaned my Solo oven in four or five months. There's a small ring around where the rim of the stem sits that I could take off but have no reason to, seems to be working hard with or without it. If you really want to, get a drop or two on a qtip and give it a swab while holding it...

All of it, in the Solo thread we often recommend newbies let the stem soak for an additional 20-30 seconds after it reaches temperature to let everything heat up (oven + glass + material) to get better clouds faster. The more experienced can start getting clouds a bit sooner. The hot air of...

You can, you just have to be careful about how you word things, not to put down a company unless they really deserve it (bholt pen ). Biggest thread on FC for a good reason IMO. Been using mine consistently and hard for coming up on a year now, no sign of letting up. I think this is...

That's the most effective way to get a usable end-product. I think some people use the travel stem containers, they're basically 2l bottles before they get expanded into the size and shape of a 2l. With some ISO and then evaporating. I have been able to just scrape it out with a wooden skewer or...

It's both at the same time! Dry sift aims to maximize trichome head purity while keeping other particulate matter out. It's like hash in the sense that it's concentrated kief, just unpressed and instead of getting trichome heads and trichome stalks and little bits of flower, it's heads. You can...

Hi @PPN, I have also found that high moisture will cause concentrates to turn from shatter to wax/crumble. If you apply enough heat you can get it back but taste will suffer. Did you winterize with ethanol or ISO? You will have a little bit of terpene loss when you winterize with a secondary...

Thanks, that makes sense. Someone intimate with both the Crafty and Mighty explained the experience in much better detail in a PM to me. Temps don't seem to drop near as significantly as we can achieve with the open-airflow Solo and a strong strong pull (some people reported a few steps' drop)...

Smushy trichomes? Is it dry sift or bubble hash? I LOVE solventless concentrates
