I just placed an order for one of these.
For me, if a quartz cup atomizer is available I couldn’t imagine using a donut or rod atomizer. An insert of some kind would certainly be nice — even better ease of cleaning, plus the thermal properties of SiC are probably particularly nice for the...
Too bad about the VM2 atomizer. Can anyone who has one of these share what the inner diameter of the atomizer is? I’m wondering if I can find a quartz insert for it; if so I’ll pretty likely pick one up. It’s just too cute.
Edit:
It could also be that the cotton was catching on the concentrate...
Thanks for the preview, though I’m surprised to hear this part — I thought the current coils were made with SS wire. Just want to confirm Kanthal is right?
Edit: Yeah, according to the product info found here:
Does this mean that going forward you guys are switching to Kanthal?
It's a ceramic barrel coil? So that means it's just one ceramic cylinder instead of two? Interesting.
I'm most keen for the quartz coils previewed here, seems like they'll be easier to keep clean:
I'm also having weird lights going on. It seems like the temperature changes on mine with little to no provocation and the battery falsely claims to be too low early. I'm giving it some time to condition to see how it shapes up before reaching out to support.
I'm curious about when we might...
It seems like that silicone lid can pop off, so I figured it was built that way for ease of cleaning, maybe? But I’m pretty sure the concentrates themselves are meant to go into the cup — it’s lined with quartz for that reason, IIRC.
I can’t believe it but I caused a few thermal-shock (it seems) induced hairline cracks in my Bamboo :( I’ve seen plenty of reports here of similar, but my Bamboo seems to still be totally airtight (if I plug the bottom hole I can’t pull), and seems to work fine. Does anyone know if it’s a...
Wow, it looks lovely! I had to hit reply in order to see the photos show up -- maybe in my post they'll be visible.
Edit: nope. But if you hit reply on Marc's post, the photos are visible in the composition window, for some reason.
A heads-up, but I believe that this may be against the rules -- in order to solicit a sale you must accrue the appropriate reputation and post in the Classifieds section. Best of luck.
