if you want a big hit ( more volume ) i would go w/ a large (75mm or bigger) can w/ a short bent mouthpiece w/ some type of disc filter to keep things smooth maybe a frit/honeycomb/lattice not sure if you are using flower/oil/vape so the fitting would depend on your preference

please check the listing the tube listed has the same weld/ring
the "ring" is from the diamond wet saw we using in our shop.
its not air bubbles and the weld is strong in that aspect
the only way the remove...
this is common practice esp w. e-tailers ( there are several i know of that do this but i wont name names =) )
i have also offered 2nds so some of my customers and they usually jump @ the chance cuz its usually a great deal.
but i agree not stating they are 2nds can really screw some ppl over...
i think this is a good idea, for anyone who has a old piece that needs be freshened up a good kiln cycle will make the glass sparkle like brand new and it wipes away any built up stress from years of abuse.
remember glass has memory and it doesnt forget all those times u banged it on something
we use uber joints which are about 2.2mm thick
i'll let other members speak about the quality of the build/welds
The rocket perc isn't really my favorite pc it creates allot of larger bubbles which gives you a chuggy feeling kinda like a natural perc/stemless.
i suppose if you want to preserve...
there are some that are made overseas and im sure there are some made locally wherever the brand is carried.
that being said if you are buying in person you can inspect the quality yourself and if it meets your quality / price needs - does it really matter where it came?
allot of times the glass itself doesn't help even the big name brand glass tubing companies (schott, simax etc have imperfections) -
many time the base is wobbly because the surface you are using itself is not flat ( i've had more than a few ppl return tubes only the find that their table was...
i met a guy who was wrapping tubes w. a dip i forget the name but he had all sorts of prints/colors
and its still glass - looked pretty cool
maybe some1 else here knows the proper term for it
for a drag free exp i would go w/ the MM tech double lattice if those are the only 2 choices
disc percs always have less drag than a downstem/perc combo
yea that piece looks like it has a bit more work in it, not sure what that dome/pivot is but if its glass , looks complicated.
and yea its got that nice stubby base - sweet
Pyrex is safe to boil or even broil . unless you have a high temp oven that can go over 1200 F you aren't going to change the integrity of the piece.
** unless the piece is cracked or chipped **
i prefer selling models that we have already --- because it gives the average customer max value.
that being said i am open to custom orders but because of the nature of customs they are usually more expensive so i try to steer prospective buyers away from that if there is an existing model...
wow its still there? it should have all been vaporized, how long did you leave the oven on for?
its enough to cook off all the grease inside ur oven it should be enough for some plant material
i would take the piece ( if it is free from any cracks or chips )
place the pc in your oven ( @ room temp )
set your oven to self clean mode ( usually goes up to 500F )
and let it raise and cook and lower to room temp ( do not open oven door when hot )
and this will cook out any stains / grime...
