its hard to see - u have to look at it in sunlight if it sparkles then its a crack if not then its a a bad weld that wasnt fully melted thru so there is a "wrinkle"

this makes allot of sense - if you have a simple hairline crack or a chipped piece u can go with this option to fix it yourself - i know some artists don't want to touch other peoples work out of respect so it can be hard to find sum1 to do repairs ( not everyone is a whore like me =P )

This piece looks like its imported - only because of the way it was put together - cheap parts - not bridged and short stem - having said that - judging by the seal - it looks 1/2 way decent im not sure about for $120 as you can get a comparable tube w/ better build quality elsewhere

yea that stuff soaks into your bones - nasty indeed. scientific shops use it to wash the glass free of contaminants. i have had some luck using HCL hydrachoric acid - its not as strong or dangerous - but also not as effective.

SYN uses sugar based decals so they come off easier - in fact if you have a syn tube and the sticker comes off - u can contact them for a replacement sticker and they will hook u up. other decals like ROOR or Sheldon use Lead based stickers those are also what we use here - they WILL not come...

yea because you have to spin the glass by hand or on a lathe - round makes the most sense. u can still work w/ square boro - but it just takes more time = more cost
