I use my grinder as a stand. The height of the grinder is just right when I open the bowl of the Ascent.

I use a pair of hemostats the take my oil can out when it's hot. I use them for the glass flowers also.

@ Nigel, I've been using the flower container for the same thing. It's the perfect size and holds about two bowls.

My unit had the problem of not showing/ allowing the temp to change. I had it on 396 and tried to bump it up 3 degrees and it kept showing 396. After I bumped the heat up 5 degrees it worked. I haven't had that problem since. Maybe it's a sign that it might have more problems with changing temps.

I was thinking the same thing. Taper the ends so you can push it through your vape material.

The mivape looks impressive. Do you know if it does oils/waxes? I haven't found any reviews that actually say it does concentrates.

Da Vinci told me directly, over the phone, that there is nothing toxic or harmful coming out of the unit. They said all the materials are safe. Do I believe it ? That's another question.

Cotton works well as a filter but I've found that it affects the draw and seems to decrease the vapor. Also I think it subtracts from the taste. Could just be me but that's the results it get. It's not a big difference but noticeable.

You could try putting a small bud on top of your ground up bud. Just a thought...

I have found that sandwiching some keif between bud works very well. Ill have to try it with some QWISO.
