Nice, informative post Kero. I too would like to see some Glass attachments exclusively for the Ascent, especially some type of a fitted glass puck for the bowl, a substitute for the glass flowers and beads. A nice one piece glass insert would solve a lot of problems instead of having to deal...
I usually vape a pure Indica at 400F+ for sleep purposes. It takes about 30min. after vaping before I start feeling tired and sleepy. Granted it doesn't always work but it seems to help most of the time. I have severe sleep problems and other than meds, which I hate taking, cannabis is the best...
I've heard that oils and waxes don't do well but I haven't tried any yet. I've got some QWISO but I was waiting for some more feedback about using oils with the Ascent. I've got a glass globe atomizer on order that I want to try first. I don't want to take a chance of gunking up my Ascent, it...
I've noticed that after many comparisons, glass flowers give me more vapor than when using the glass oil can. Also I get better results with well dried out buds.
I just have not gotten a definitive answer- yes/no, pertaining to the plastic pathway. Davinci kinda talks around it. I've asked if it was supposed to be airtight or not- should be an easy question to answer. Davinci keeps referring the leaks around the glass stems, I know there will be leaks...
I did not say I wanted it to my standards. I said if the pathway is supposed to be airtight, mine is not and that means mine is not 100%. If it not supposed to be airtight, OK. No one has definitely said if its supposed to airtight, I'm still looking for an answer. Just because it works with an...
I just don't understand why some units interior plastic pathway is airtight and some are not. If its supposed to be airtight I want mine to be airtight. I don't care if it stills works without it being airtight, I want my unit to be 100%- that's what I paid $250 for. This is the only issue I...
I've tried dried buds and slightly moist buds and I prefer the dry. Boveda packs are great for curing and re-hydrating over dried buds. Also B.P.'s keep your buds in good condition by keeping them moist enough so that the Trics are not easily knocked off. I always take some bud out of my BP...
That's good to hear. I didn't think it would matter a lot but I didn't know if that pathway was supposed to be airtight. I still wonder why it wouldn't be though. Just wanted to make sure my unit was 100%. This issue been brought up a few times.
I simply wanted to know if it was normal for the plastic pathway that the glass stems fit into leak or not. I thought that pathway was supposed to be airtight, I could be wrong that's why I asked. If its supposed to be airtight then I would need to return mine. Also I realize that there will be...
Well, just got off the phone with Davinci. They could not answer my questions about why the pathway leaks and why it isn't one piece. They said they would get back to me. Also I was told that any and all air that might flow through the circuitry is 100% safe, his words. The Rep. said that...
Here's my reply from Davinci-
I am sorry about that. This should not cause a defect to the unit and should supply you with enough vapor through the glass on glass vapor pathway.
Not an answer at all. I emailed them again, politely asking them to please answer my question, whether this pathway...
I just sent Davinci an email asking why the plastic pathway isn't airtight. Wel'll see how long it takes to get a response/answer. I can not figure out why this pathway is not airtight, any ideas?
I noticed when the glass tubes are inserted there is extremely little air leaking. Drawing through it without the glass tubes does have air leaks, not big, but noticeable. Not sure where exactly the leaks are. I'm assuming they might be at the top end.
This is very interesting. I would like to know if there is a reason for the air leaks. I believe most if not all units have this. Isn't there a Davinci Rep. On this forum? Also I've always thought that the glass mouthpiece should fit into the glass stem, instead of the stem fitting into the...
