Try pre-heating it....a LOT. I also found the Plenty to be best with a big load and with the concentrate pad on top of that, but if you really want to use the caps and reducer it certainly can be done. Just keep in mind that reducer is a HUGE chunk of metal and requires much more heat-soaking...
Received replacement 14mm WPAs (I busted the first one I got a little while ago) and they're the thicker, newer style that dosn't fit through the lid and into the flexicone. Bummer, I prefer not using the flexicone+ when going through glass. As imperfect as the older ones were, I think I...
Considering how impossibly scarce "my miniVAP won't turn on" posts have been (compared to other...er...very popular units) I sleep pretty soundly after a massive miniVAP-through-bong session.
There's not much room for error with the flexicones, but it is starting to look like they may have received a batch of glass in the wrong size from their glass supplier.
The (now cracked) adapter I received with mine last year was a bit of a challenge to insert correctly the first time around...

Happy with the product because it works exactly as advertised.
LOL yeah that's exactly what'll happen if you do THAT.
Now press the flexicone firmly againsto the lid with your thumb and push the glass stem into the flexicone.
I don't think there's any getting around using the flexicione (or flexicone+), even if you're direct-loading the chamber.
I see in the photo you've got the teflon version, don't pack those baskets tight, it contributes to the draw restriction.
I think 0.2 is about the most I've put in a large...
I think it's ok to stick it into your bong, take a hit, and pull it out again.
As opposed to leaving it in there upside down for the duration.
At least that's what the instructions that I got with my EVO said.
Might have something to do with heating up the electronics.
The top of the EVO at the...
