Don't hold your breath.
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
The miniVAP isn't fragile and the teflon core has better and longer lasting flavor than the EVO.
The glass core miniVAP is probably on par with the EVO for flavor, different but comparable.
The miniVAP just starts to taste...
I'll put a fully heat-soaked glass core miniVAP up against any of the heaviest heavy hitters out there.
And I would have never known this from watching the youtube reviews and other videos of it.
Absolutely ridiculous vapor density from roughly half the material you'd put in a S&B dosing...
If the message was "hey guys I found fifty unopened terp torches, selling 'em for ( new inflation-adjusted COVID era supply chain price) of $350, make sure you order right now due to the humongous demand" then the "artificial scarcity" thing would make sense.
Seems kinda obvious he needs to...
If you frequent guitar forums you'll find that the exact same conversations take place, the same outrage from "shrewd consumers" and the same criticism of anyone who's making "more money than they deserve to make" by people who've never actually made anything.
Probably true for any hobby forum...
I have no idea, I haven't investigated that specific one enough to form an opinion, since I'm not in the market for one.
I don't know what "objectively affordable" means to you.
I do know that titanium is a bitch to work with, and that pretty much anything you can buy can be purchased for less...
Nah, that ain't it.
I mean, no one's REALLY complaining about the abundance of injector vapes.
No one's complaining about the abundance of log vapes or chinese conduction cheapos.
But when the hot rod comes up the same gang of people chime in with "I could have made this myself for $80" comments...
Some of the "it's overpriced" reddit comments crack me up.
It is as if some people are genuinely pissed that the guy makes a profit from selling something he designed, and that it is his obligation to provide the thing at cost.
They're both "ready" after a couple of minutes but they also both benefit from a heat-soak, and the glass core needs a longer heat-soak to be at maximum efficiency than the teflon core.
You need either the flexicone or the flexicone+, yes. The rimmed screen is necessary to keep your weed from...
No one is "inhaling teflon" - people have been cooking with teflon coated stuff for a long time, and the health concerns revolve around perfluorooctanoic acid, which was indeed harmful but has not been used in the manufacture of teflon since 2015. Teflon has been certified safe to heat up til...
Sometimes I get this, but it really seems to depend on how much "pull" the glass I use has. I also find that the temp setting I use varies a LOT depending on which bong I use. Adding an ashcatcher w/ a percolator gave me totally different results, too.
When I get that "less vaped perimeter"...
If you mean "does it work better after a ten-minute heat soak" I would say yes, it does.
But the main difference is thermal recovery speed.
I don't need to pre-heat it to get a big cloud on the first inhale if I take a long slow hit.
However, using the bigger basket I definitely DO need to...
No. It's still a session vape...it won't cook your herb between hits but it'll also go into standby (cool down) and then shut itself off if you don't touch it for a long enough period of time.
My afternoon plans got cancelled so I'm getting myself sauteed to a fine crisp on some really delicious smelling Dosi Sherbert here as soon as I'm done with lunch. Maybe I'll do a teflon vs glass side-by-side video lol. If I'm lucky I'll recover from that in time to edit it into something...
A full basket of Comatose OG (strain name doesn't lie lol) last night before bed.
My most recent acquisition is an Oldhead Hot Rod and I've gotta say the glass core miniVAP has no trouble whatsoever keeping up with a heavy-hitting 'heat injector' style ball vape.
Dynavap shouldn't be in that category, first hit is usually nice, the rest...not great.
I have a vapexhale EVO, which is no slouch in the flavor department and the teflon miniVAP easily beats it. Before I got the miniVAP the EVO was my benchmark for superior flavor. The glass core miniVAP is on...
