I dunno either. I was just looking at it yesterday (page 19) and thinking of PM'ing him, as I could REALLY do with one now I'm using it almost exclusively. But then I know he seems pretty busy with the Tubo orders... and quite frankly I'd prefer him to spend any "extra" time on the dual battery...

Just had an early Sunday morning sup session (going back to bed soon :nod: ). Noticed the hole on the top plate of the block is at the bottom on my single... got to thinking and I reckon there's no logic to it at all, simply goes in whichever way Ed picks it up to slide into the frame. Need...

No I'm still using the same one I got from you... it performs well and is the perfect height to stand next to the sv3 for hands free heating :nod: Always meant to get another to have a torch either side of the block, but never got round to it. If I'm in a rush I'll usually just hit the other...

I actually find I get much better feedback (heat in the mouth rather than seeing the vapour) with the aluminium stem over a j hook. Find it much easier to gauge personally :tup:

@frediddler the silicone where the bowl slides into the stem makes a good solid 14mm seal natively... bit hot taking the bowl out without the red (or white) seal on, but a much more solid connection :tup: Yeah j hook all the way for me too :sherlock:

Couldn't agree more... would be a real shame for the single stem ver to not exist. And I still don't get the dually either :hmm: The single ver is well worth the $175 figure... especially if Ed includes a J hook (as he's been doing recently)...

Yeah that's an even closer match than the other... Love mine, it's got a decent size can without being too huge. Big wide and thick base to it too :tup:

@biohacker that's almost identical to the water piece I use. I've had it for ages and knocked it over tons on concrete floors... it's thick as (watch I'll probably break it tmrw now). Couple of old pics from the solo days (when it was clean):

Just the plate on the top of the heating block rattles on mine... nothing inside...

$150 for the basic kit (which is all you need) plus about $10-15 for shipping to EU. Tbf can't think of that many portables that'll give you more than 5 sessions/charge. Batteries are cheap, just swap them out... I have 5 in rotation. And that's $$$'s not €€€'s :tup:

Just wondering if anyone's had their Tubo out in cold weather (I'm talking freezing temps/winter etc)...? Just curious, as it's getting cold around these parts already. How did it hold up, what sort of increase in temps did you have to do to account for the ambient temp being so low etc...

A thick elastic band (maybe wrapped a couple of times round) should do the trick. Use one for my nano dial as that's pretty easy to knock too :tup:
