Which Vape- Arizer XQ2, Silver Surfer or (something in the $200 range)

@Jbagz, a lot of people like the "injector" style because they can use an adaptor or other glass as a traditional style of bowl. Those bowls tend to be bigger and easier to load. The other main style involves loading herb into a basket screen at the end of an 18 mm male fitting or a tube of...

Which Vape- Arizer XQ2, Silver Surfer or (something in the $200 range)

The Silver Surfer seems like a match for you. It's a bit of a slow sipper for a desktop. I have one I don't use too often because I prefer hard hitting 3 hit sessions. It's not especially efficient and you will go through more flower than you would with some other options, a small log for...

Is there a way to make the search function.. function?

That is a common limitation of forum sites like this. The indexer doesn't index words of less than four letters to avoid getting clogged up with results for words like "and" and "the". You can do it in Google (which is smarter) like this: "THC site:fuckcombustion.com" Let me know if I can...

    Discontinued Ghost MV1

To all the Ghost owners, if you've never tried a twax sandwich, try it. This is how I typically use it. Go easy with the amount of concentrate at first, when just right it helps the flower vape more fully and leaves the crucible reasonably clean. If you overdo the amount it's an unholy mess...

Questions and help after 24hrs using my Pinky

@sefdenrat , I don't have a Pinky but have a few comparable home made and modified desk tops. Vaping tastes and smells different from smoking and it takes some getting used to. The reclaim from smoking contains smoke particles which makes it yellow, vaping reclaim contains only THC and other...

Yocan KEEN Rechargeable Disposable CBD Vape Pen

How is a thing both rechargeable and disposable? Those words aren't usually used together.

Does anyone build this vape already? DIY cheap coil vape.

I've seen a variety of bowls used, it will be in the thread.

Does anyone build this vape already? DIY cheap coil vape.

Look up the "Pinky", it's a very similar home build that has become popular recently. Functionally it's not much different, I expect the Pinky has more mass and heat retention. Edit: here's the link...

    LAST vape NEXT vape

@attackpoints , all I can say is that I have a Ghost MV1 that has worked great since the day I got it. Does that prove the MV1 is reliable, not at all, it only proves that some of them work. Going by the reported issues with the TM it's clear that it has reliability issues that come from a...

    LAST vape NEXT vape

Well, that's good, but you have to admit the reports of these problems keep coming in. It can't be "fixed" because it's a fundamental flaw in the design. Electronics designed for consumers (and almost every other vape in existence) avoid pressure fittings for good reason.

    LAST vape NEXT vape

My most recent is a DynaVap Vong that I bought on 4/20. I've been using a 2019 M with TI tip and a 2020 M for years. The Vong felt like an unnecessary purchase ( I don't generally buy multiple versions of things) but it's a really solid upgrade to the experience. The improvements are...

You want something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/283997366718 to convert from USB 5V to 12.6 for the BMS. Be sure to pick one that supports the charge current drawn by your BMS.

    All metal WP/bong adapters?

Understood, fear of broken glass trumps fear of metal in air path :) I dropped an expensive Elev8R cooling stem for my Splinter Z not long after getting it. I wanted to cry, or hit myself...

The Mighty+ CU cleaning methods and alcohols

Drinkable ethanol (like high proof EverClear available in some US states) is the safest cleaner you can use. The challenge is that in the US and many countries ethanol intended for drinking is heavily taxed and expensive and ethanol not intended for drinking has bitterants or other additives to...

    All metal WP/bong adapters?

I tested out my google fu to see what I could find, only found a few old and out of stock listings of metal adapters. Doesn't look like there is much market for these, most folk want all glass.

    Orion Induction Heater

This isn't the right place for a discussion of the Wand (FC mods like threads to stay on topic, in this case Orion heaters), but, I've been using one for the last 6 months and really like it. It's heavy but well rounded so it doesn't stab through your pocket.

The intended replacement sub for r/InductionHeaters was also banned, it was private and only had two members. It looks like Reddit is lost to us for good. Hopefully some of those newbies will find their way here and we can help them along.

DIY Induction Heater Builds and References

If anyone is wondering r/InductionHeaters got banned from Reddit today along with a bunch of other vaping related subs (r/EntExchange, r/Arizer, r/DynaVap to name a few). The ban is being appealed and if necessary the replacement sub will be opened up and "advertised" to people in a few days...
