    Discontinued Purple-Days Vaporizer

I'm careful with the first hit-- then it is 'glued' into place after that and I don't ever worry about anything falling in. Its inevitable some WILL fall in, and so lately I find the easiest way to clear out the PD is to do a really powerful draw with an empty stem. You'll see how it works by...

Is the PD's lack of temperature adjustment a negative?

For me, the lack of temperature adjustment has turned out to be a major PRO. Burnt popcorn taste was a fact of life of my whip vape. Not so with the PD.... not saying that all negative tastes are removed but its like a 95% improvement for me.

Hey im new to the vaping world, tell me about the smell.

If smell is important to you, then the problem with whip vapes is that there is that vapor inside the tube.... especially if you or someone else draws too much and is unable to finish everything in the tube [and coughs it out, etc]. Look into the Purple Days or MyrtleZap... they use those small...

PD poll - do you leave it on 24/7 or not

24/7. If I had an absolute set schedule I'd use a timer since I have one... but I prefer the 24/7 convenience.

    Aromazap/Myrtlezap/CeramicRockZap

Try a tube while it is empty to confirm how EASY it is to draw when there is nothing in there. If there is resistance however, then investigate. If the draw is easy, then pack the bowl more lightly, skip the tamp, and on your first inhale make sure the tube is horizontal if you don't want any...

    Purple Days Review!

After years and years of dealing with the prices of the really good stuff out there and the occasional dry spells... I am still in shock at being able to last twice as long on the same bag... coasting right over the dry spells whenever they happen. No amount of argument on the internet can...

    Increased pain when vaping?

Certain strains set me off in a bad way... I'm usually wondering what is going on until I switch to a different strain/bag, and then the difference is starkly clear. So even if what you have is supposedly the best off the shelf, you might want to check out all kinds of samples until you find...

"Milkshake through a straw" seems to be the fastest and quickest way to transmit to a total newbie the concept of using the PD. Milkshake memories teach you that trying to suck TOO hard is futile... that there is a certain draw that ensures a steady flow. You find that groove and you're in. :ko:

    Purple-Days availability

If I want an easy draw/great tasting inhale, I use a whip vape. If I want that EXPENSIVE bag I just bought to last more than twice as long, I use the PD. So if you are living in the land of cheap, awesome, and plenty... then yes... the whip wins, no arguments there. As for my personal...

anyone here try the sensory deprivation tank

I rented a stay once at a 'new age' shop one time to try it out. Was sober though... wanted to experience it straight up. Was an interesting experience... had a few very relaxing moments but my mind's tendency to go "Oh my, I'm relaxing now!" kept pulling me out of it... seemed itd work best...

does anyone keep track of how much they save by vaporising?

The reason the PD is so efficient is because of the "milkshake through a straw" thing. There is practically no part of the herb that escapes vaporization.

Purple Days - The tips and tricks

Sometimes I have herb that just loves to make the draw too hard... so I pack it lighter... I dont care if the stem bowl becomes only half full due to compression... its just easier to inhale that way. Other herb that is easier to dry/break down will fill an entire stem bowl and not mess me up...

does anyone keep track of how much they save by vaporising?

Whip vape = Saved more at first, then tolerance/love of the ease of inhale brought it back to the same levels (or more) of consumption as opposed to smoking. Purple Days = Going more than twice as far on the same bag... a 100%-120% savings rate. Been that way for months... not changing due to...

Herb IS stronger today......and proven to be so.

How can we be alarmed by 10% or even 15%... WHEN THE TRUE ALARM IS ALCOHOL AT 95% to 100% purity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We... MUST... PROTECT THE CHILDREN! Aren't you worried about their experimenting with something of such shocking purity? Don't you care that they start filling EMERGENCY ROOMS...

    Confessions of a Vapor-wuss

When something gets passed around and its 'out' by the time it comes back to them again, some develop the BAD HABIT of desperately needing to inhale far more than they can stand when it is their turn, resulting in their spewing into the air huge plumes of smoke [and all your dollars wasted on...

Lwien, Thank you for being so stubborn about the issue, then! As Tom stated previously, he's already changed his quality control to ensure that will not happen with anyone else. I am glad to hear of this good resolution for you.

    PD or DBV?

I started off with a chinese-made whip vape from eBay... I found that I saved bud with it at first, but then when my tolerance for it started kicking in and my love for such wonderful tasting inhales went up, my usage rate went back to where it was. I tried to take as many precautions not to...
